Prizes For Top 250 Times From Each Country?

Does anyone know if they will be giving out prizes for everyone in the Top 250 times from each country at the end of this TT.

It would be good to get even a shirt to get recognized for all our efforts over the past month getting our times down.

Highly doubtful......... thats a lot of T Shirts when you look at all the nations participating, and a hell of a lot of postage stamps!

Yeh i know but they could just give us a free DL car or something. Like a Ferarri with a sticker on the side saying "I competed in the GT Academy and all i got was this lousy car"

Not a bad idea. I would be up for that.
 
A free dowload of the game form the PlayStation Store would be a nice gesture to the top 250.

Of course I wouldn't say that if I wasn't in the top 250!!!!
 
I strongly agree there should be some sort of prize or reward.I have spent countless nights going to bed at 3am after trying to ooze out that tiny milisecond needed to push up the leaderboard,(start work at 7.30!).Maybe some sort of little banner saying TT and pos next to username.21-50 free GT5,51-100 half price GT5,101-250???.Anyway would be nice to reiceive some sort of certificate with your name and position etc.

The Super GT season passes and free autographed copies of GT5 are the Japanese GT Academy prizes. People not residing in Japan are not eligible as far as I know, same as us poor suckers in Japan aren't eligible for either the EU or US Academy prizes.

Still, I'm happy enough that I'm in with a reasonable shot at a free signed copy of GT5... :D
 
Imari, what is that "exclusive online event" ? - just out of curiosity.. Is it translated correctly there? 👍

I'd love that signed copy too :)

The translation is basically correct, it's an exclusive online event in GT5 for the top 250 called "Professional Driver". It gives no details about what that is or how it might work, but considering the limited entry and high skill level it could be pretty cool.
 
Or everyone that has even bought the system before some date. I paid 650€ at launch and free DLC would really warm my heart :)
 
Nothing of course. What did you think? (but it could if sony wanted to encourage people to buy the system before the most waited games go out)
