Pro events - GT world champ - not accessable!?

The very last Pro event race - the Gran Turismo World Championship.

When you try to enter it says you need to win all the beginner and pro events first, fair enough. As far as I can tell I have gold in all races of all events in beginner and pro events (except for the world champ of course) and the same pop-up still comes and says I need to win all beginner and pro events to enter... wtf!!?

Is there something I'm missing? or is my game flawed or what?

Did you run the pro Championship races as individual races? If so you'll need to do those that are part of a series again and win the Championship for each series. If there is a Championship icon to the left of the races you have to enter through there...

Unfortunately, your game may be flawed. Many people like you have said that they can't compete in the GT World Championship, even though they have gotten a gold in every single race in every single event. Personally, this hasn't happened to me, but I have the North American version. What version do you have?

Maybe this is a glitch between versions...

You need gold in all the SERIES races, as well as all individual races (you don't need to run them all twice; you just need to touch up any you may not have golded during the series).
