Problem installing update

Hi

I just bought a ps3 to my kids ab´nd installed Skylanders trap team, (that's the only game installed). The i treated myself with gt6 but can't get it to work. The update (1.20) needs at least 3782 MB more space. I have a ps3 12GB slim. I have 8992MB free on the hd.

Are there any issues with the playstation itself? There could be problems with the hard drive. Or maybe your Playstation doesn't have enough space to update the game.

Someone said on another thread you need at least 25GB to fully install GT6 & all updates.. I think.

Sorry to say but you should've bought a PS3 with a bigger hard drive even if it was for the kids, especially how big games are now days, I mean I got 120GB on my phone.

All patches total 13.1 gigs of space. So far. As your super slim get a external HDD for it. If you have a spare laying about you can get a powered case for it and connect it. Google what you need to do to make it work. Note usb power external HDD will not work.
