Problem with G27 (defective?)

Hey guys, sorry if I have posted in the wrong place but I noticed that there's plenty of you around using a G27 so might know if this is not normal.

My G27 makes random clunking noises/movements (most of the time in quick succession) when doing just about everything on the track.

I took a video and put it on youtube for some feedback. When you watch the vid, you can see the car is not even moving for the first 40 seconds. Then in the last few seconds I'm driving around and you can still hear it (I can feel it).
Here it is

Would be nice to hear some opinions on whether this is normal?

Thanks guys.

*ps. thanks for redirecting my post to somewhere more appropriate :)

GT5:P was not designed for g27 and fanatec wheels. Therefore there is shaking and other problems with these wheels. If your wheel is made a bit tighter than most g27s, deadozone might be too small and cause problems as the game does not know this.

G27 user know of course better. Did you play the academy demo?

I have a G27 , the first 40 seconds are weird...was the car in contact with any barrier outside the road ? Never noticed that problem with my wheel . Last part of the video is fine , i think...sorry my english .

EDIT :" I can't even take a corner smoothly because it knocks around :./This isn't normal is it?"

Hum...ok , maybe you have a problem.

Have a look at chilicoke's site and look at the G25 vs G27 video (http://chilicoke.com/mods/g25vsg27.htm) - he mentions the noise made by the G27 (as do others - Inside Sim Racing talk about it on their G27 review), it is normal but I am not sure if yours is making it more than it should. As Raitziger said - GT5P does not really support the G27 so is not a good test.

Try a few other demos perhaps? I have been very happy with mine, it has worked well with LFS, GTR2 and RBR, NFSShift and GT5P.
