Problem with nitro

Hey, I've been putting nitro on all my cars and it says R2 is the boost button, but it never seems to do anything. Can someone tell me whats wrong?

I've checked the car settings and the nitro is definately there, im just doing some of the pro races...

funny. it's the R1 button that uses the nitrous for me. R2 is for upshift when using manual gears..

now that's weird.. have you checked your button configuration? maybe the problem is there..

R2 on the DFP.

R1 on controller...you have to hold it down.

you're not by chance a Pro Evolution Soccer fan too are you? I've broken nearly all my R1 buttons on that game.

Check R1 is functioning at all with a different game?
