Hi! Yesterday I tried to take some photos of my Aventador while it was pitting fire from the exhaust. The problem is that when I take the photo, the flames disappeared: there is the car, the track, all things except for the flames... why?? :guilty::guilty::guilty:

This happens to me from time to time also. If I don't see flames after I take the shot I just chalk it up as catching the shot too late.
Some of my successful shots....

Nice shots. I also have been trying to catch the flames too, I got a couple, but it is really hard to capture. I wish you could slow down the replay or go frame by frame or something. It would be a lot easier to capture these awesome shots.

Thank you very much! :) 👍 I agree, a slow-mo or frame by frame would make catching back-fires so much easier.

Here's another successful picture I took, this one is one of my favorites. :)

The shutterspeed and correct angle does have something with whether you can cleanly catch the backfires from the exhaust or not... Even the view at the same spot doesn't sometimes allow you to see them according to the angle of the shot.
