Problems with create a Japanese PS3 Account

Hello Gran Turismo fans,

I have discovered on the gtplantet.net website that it is possible to download the Japanese version of the Gran Turismo game.

I have followed the instruction up to step 6 as show here : https://www.gtplanet.net/guides/index.php/Create_a_Japanese_PS3_Account

However, once I have completed step six and processed onward I get a different page then show in step 7.

Here is what I see after step 6.

If any of you forum goers have the faintest clue what I am doing wrong or how to correct this problem, please reply at your earliest convenience.

OK, most likely there is something wrong with your password.
From what little Japanese I can make out, I think the text says:
1. your password must be 6 characters or more and be a mixture of alphabets/numbers
2. must contain more than 1 number/alphabet
3. must not have more than 3 alphabet/number in sequence (I think this means no 123 or abc etc).
4. must not be a variation of your sign-in ID.

So play with your passwords and use something reasonably complicated and follow the rules above and you should be fine.

Yes, both of you are right, my password needed both letter and number to get past to the next step in the registration, as well as the gran turismo demo not being available anymore on the JP marketplace.

I am curious though, is there still someway to get the gran turismo on my ps3? I have stumbled on some link where it can be downloaded to your pc. I downloaded it and put it on my portable hard drive and attached the drive to the ps3. Now the ps3 recognized the drive however there is no trace of the gran turismo demo or whatever it is anywhere.

If any of you have any idea a way to help me out please don't hesitate to reply.

I recently lost all my ps3 game saves and downloads due to a linux install gone bad. Even though the GT5P demo is now offline I was still able to redownload it along with all my other previously purchased games under account management download history.

Maybe you can borrow someone's master account and download it to your ps3? -I'm thinking it should be playable, just not under your account. It should be possible unless the account and ip address don't match up. Can anyone confirm?

BTW Can anyone upload the GT5P DEMO Game Save or know where to download it? I can't unveil the WRX or remove the GTR's black mask...

Demos are not protected by DRM nor are they linked to any specific account. Once the download is initiated, it should not be account dependent *unless it is Warhawk or something Sony has taken special interest in to protect*. I've been trying to find someone myself that has GT5 Prologue Demo already downloaded so I can get a taste of it. I just repurchased a PS3 last week (and have had my regular accounts since launch). I regret not finding someone to download it for me in the time frame. I want to try out the game before I make a purchase.

same here. i'm about to buy the GT5P but i need to do some tests on the gt5pdemo first.
