First of all, I do own a PS1, a PS2 AND a copy of GT2, so me attempting to play GT2 on an emulator is completely legal. On the other hand I've downloaded several BIOS images (7501, 1000 and 1001), but I believe I've got a 5xxx model (?). My PS1 has a Gameshark port.
Anyway, I downloaded ePSXe so I could mess around with savestates and hybrids faster then using my Gameshark. Unfortunately, it won't work. It starts up, shows the info screen and goes into the main menu, but once I actually open "Start Game", it stops, and I get a black screen.
I read the helpfile and it said I need to turn on CD Timing, so I put it in the command line arguments using the Launcher - but it still didn't work.
I'm running Windows XP, and have a good graphics card and my processor is fast enough (I think - 1.3 gHz). I also downloaded alot of plug-ins...
I know this really isn't the best forum to ask in, but I see people mention it around here.
TIA,
Steve-o
