Hello

As written above, I have problems with the DD Pro that I don't understand.

I don't feel driving over the curbs. I still feel the transition from asphalt and curbs with a twitch, but not the rest of the ride on the curbs. Is that normal? I also tried it with the Dualsense and found the following. If I only drive with the Dualsense and don't have the steering wheel active, the Dualsense vibrates the entire journey when I go over the curbs. If I switch on the steering wheel but continue to drive with the controller, the signal is simply switched off. Is that also normal? And why doesn't the game simply pass the signal from the curbs on to the steering wheel? It's there, tested with the controller. I hope so much that I can be helped. I'm really disappointed with this situation. Greetings to all, Marc

I have the same issue with the CSL. Also tried Fanatec recommended settings, but no change.

My CSL doesn’t feel as good as it did on GT Sport with the PS4. Now GT7 on ps5 will keep turning sometimes if I reset a lap in a middle of a spin or something.

It did the same for me in GT Sport on the PS5. So I guess that's a PS5 issue.

I have a weird problem. I just got my DD Pro wheel set up today, got the firmware updated successfully and all that. The problem is that it won't respond to any pedal input. Sorry, dumb user error, the pedal is sorted. But it also doesn't do any calibration that I can tell on PC or PS4 - the wheel spinning from lock to lock I'm assuming like all the other wheels. It otherwise acts like it's working. Logs into PS4 Pro, the buttons and "hat" 4-way toggle works fine, and it even has force feedback in a race with the mph numbers showing up correctly in the florescent display. So I have a few questions.
  • Does it calibrate for you guys the way all the other FFB wheels do, by turning lock to lock when the Playstation starts?
  • Do the four colored directional knobbies do anything useful? Like control the multifunction display? How do we call up our weather maps and fuel control?
  • How do you get to all the advanced settings, or do we have to plug into a PC for that?

This is just an issue with GT7's FFB in general. There's nothing wrong with your wheel.

@Plumbum The FFB in GT7 is phenomenal with the Fanatec CSL DD Wheelbase.
You must be either playing with the wrong Settings or you’re just not feeling it 😑

No, it does not. This kind of calibration probably wouldn't make sense for a direct drive wheel, which can turn indefinitely in principle, there is no hard lock on either side.

It does perform calibration when powering it on, but that's just one quiet rotation of the wheel. Personally, I like this much better than the rather noisy calibration of Logitech wheels. :P

They do, the yellow one at the bottom right controls the MFD for me. (I do wish these could be reassigned in the game's wheel configuration though)

You can switch the built-in tuning menu to advanced mode (multiple profiles, with more separate settings each) by holding the tuning button on the wheel for a few seconds, IIRC.
