Profile post alert - how do I disable?

I replied to another user's profile post recently and now I get an alert whenever that user's status is updated. I can't find an option to unfollow the conversation like there is with individual forum threads.

Is there any way to stop receiving alerts from a particular status update without disabling them from other users or conversations?

Unfortunately, no, there isn't a way to stop getting alerts from a specific profile post that you've replied to.

The only option is to disable the "also comments on a profile post" alerts in your account preferences, but that is of course a global option.
