I'm looking for programs(preferably freeware)that are worth downloading.
Anything from anti-virus freeware to media converters, editing software, music creation, performance boosting programs and anything worth looking at.
What do you think?;)

Go to https://ninite.com/

Tick all the ones you want.

Download a single installer.

Install.

Which ones do you recommend?

@grayfox I currently use chrome.

EDIT:I have performance boost programs called system checkup and PC healthboost.
Are they trustworthy because they tell me to make an account with them to fix any problems I have, should I.

No, get rid of them.

CCleaner, Malwarebytes' free and Avast anti virus free is all you need.

*edit*
If I was setting up my own PC, this is what I would select.

Of course if you already have antivirus, untick Avast. Or remove your current AV before continuing.

Not a bad selection at all.

Personally I would use AVG, Google Drive works better for me than Dropbox, and GIMP over Paint.net

@DQ
And these are all freeware programs of course.
What about download.com?
I've read an old thread that recommended that website for software and was wondering(in the words of Larry Olivier)is it safe?

All but Microsoft Office.

Yes, mostly. I normally steer clear of anything that is cnet installer enabled.

You should also research any application you install if you are not sure about it.

I'm guessing cnet isn't trustworthy.
Also where's the best place to download photoscape and youtube downloader?
Unless going direct is best?

EDIT:I'm also looking for freeware to create PS3 themes,an Ad blocker program and some video conversion software,I've heard freestudiosoft is good.

cnet (download.com) is fine for the most part. Just always research a program first and don't just download them blindly. I don't download anything that uses the cnet installer.

I've been having problems with freestudio.
I've tryed capturing a full screen video of my laptop of what I'm doing but Windows media player won't play it and my PS3 says it's corrupted.

I know what you mean and I do not understand why these companys do it.

Download a downloader to download the thing you want to download.

It is just a waste of time and bandwidth.

WinRAR
GeForce Experience if you have an nVidia CloneCD
And I do not think it is worth to trust in programs that "make your PC faster"
I'll have a look if I can list more 👍
EDIT: GIMP
And if you are willing to pay use Kaspersky Internet Security... You will have to teach him, that not everything you download is a virus (), but when he learned he is a really good program:tup:

Evernote - works on both Mac and Windows (no Linux sadly, but there is Nevernote for now) - has mobile clients that work really, really well, and you can access your notes for work or school anywhere in the world, on any device with internet access.
