has anyone seen a response from slightly mad studios that they are aware of the bugs and will be fixing them?...I heard from someone that they outsourced the programming of the menus. They wasted their money.
One of my beefs, the highlights of the cursor are just a couple shades different blue than the back ground. If you accidentally move it, it's not noticed and click...wtf? That's not what I wanted. And the circle button for going back also doubles as the exit button...back, back, exit??? Wtf???no no no .thats not what I wanted.!
I used to play gt legends, fantastic game, menus were excellent, guys, some of you helped make that game....please make the menus easy to read and negotiate like that...
Oh yeah, when in multiplayer, the screen really chugs, really bad. Is this just a PS4 thing?

I think some patience is required. There are aware, I'm pretty sure they can read as well as us. Just sometimes, somethings cant be fixed immediately. Surely that can be understood?

I agree they have made a mistake in releasing a game thats not ready in all areas, but it is what it is. You’ll have a less stressful time of it approaching it from a glass half full perspective.

I'm ok with waiting, I just haven't come across an acknowledgement that they know there are problems and will be fixing them in the near future....
Have you personally seen a response?

Doesn't matter is it half full or empty if it contains garbage.
Nice glass alone doesn't make drink taste good.

:)

If your at the garbage stage then the time for being optimistic or pessimistic has already passed.

And your not likely to know:

Really good thread, really informative! Thanks!

Just getting bit too big/long, but must watch to know when this game is ready for buying.

I would have to disagree, cant stand the stuff unless its in this:

:)

Not sure if it's a bug or what but 3 of us got random multiple second penalties all at the same time on the last lap. I had nothing out of the ordinary happen at that time. On track the whole race with no contact.

No. I say it again.
This is a very alarming attitude and gives totally wrong message to the devs and gaming industry.
The product has to be ready in day one for customer. Maybe minimum patching would be ok in these days.

@rono_thomas don't take or think me so pessimistic, I have high hopes for this game (hopefully simulator). :)

Before you can clean garbage (fix bugs) you have to identify them, not deny their existence or count under real amount. Problems aren't vanishing when you close your eyes, PR at this point (after release of product, which should be mint problem free, as normal consumer thinks when buying it from shop) needs to be zero or 100%, anything between just hurts imago, because all can do their math and when it's not matching with PR speech you just can't trust any other statement after it from PR.

I'm keeping fingers crossed and waiting this product polishing process.

Your confusing me with someone who disagrees with you, I dont and in the context of my first post:

Its worthwhile that you read all that I wrote instead of making assumptions.

So a patch awaiting approval from Sony and Microsoft isn't a response enough for some people. Plus they've already stayed even after this patch they'll be others that will follow. Doesn't sound like closing eyes to me

Twitter has some very specific acknowledgements of lots of issues raised here and on the official forum.
i don't use twitter, don't know how. But thanks for the conformation. I'll take your word for it.

Fays are quickly turning into weeks and I'm starting to feel the battlefield story all over again. Mm

Most active players on playstation, yet pc gets updates first...

Playstation has most players,... Yet PC gets the testpublic.

Are we just srcondclass citizens?

No, but you chose to buy into the North Korea of entertainment systems. Not a single bit goes in or out of your PS4 that is not approved by Sony. In their world, you wouldn’t even know what’s in the works or how many days or weeks it is till the next patch.

I’ve yet to see one single game developer being more transparent with what’s happening than SMS. Usually you can’t even talk to a dev and are stuck with a publisher customer hotline instead.

And somehow I have this feeling sony won't give a go for the release of the patch until gts is out ;)

I am on ps4 , to many bugs to take pleasure....Lot of many People sell pc2 to take forza or gt sport for that....

What is with this automatic assumption the GT:S and Forza will be bug free?

That has most certainly never been my experience. I love GT6 but it was massively bugged at release. PD have a much longer track record for releasing too early.

Where is the patch ?
On consoles, once a developer has created a patch it has to go to Sony/Microsoft for verification and approval, before it is certified and released. I understand that this process can take around two weeks.

False..... The patch is not yet ready
Indeed, with new sony policies, patch can be approved, certified and deployed on the same day, or the day after !

A patch apperead on pc days ago but doesn't really fix anything really crucial. A small patch. Ps4 version of the game needs tons of adjustements.

Many Friends already sold the game for gt sport, which is stupid but legit as the actual game has been released in an embarassing status. I Will keep It cause in few months we Will have a pure gem.

SMS stated several times that the current PC patch is a intermediate release and will be part of a much bigger update that will be released for all systems in the next days. Official communication happens on the official forums and may or may not be posted over here at gtplanet...at SMS’ discretion of course.

PS4 needs perhaps a massive patch
The PC version is not so bugged
Maybe is thats the cause to take so long
Keep calm guys :gtpflag:
Don´t sell your game
Big mistake in my opinion

Stefano casillo from kunos simulazioni (assetto corsa) also stated several times that an update on console need to pass an approval, and that can go from one week up to four weeks.
If the update don't get approved, they have to fix what sony/Microsoft listed and start the process again.

And sure that first pary Studios have preference above third party Studios.

So patience, updates will come.
