I'm going to give these a try when I get back at dinner , I wasn't sure if Raw was for the real high end wheels ? Im on the T300

Not satisfied on overall FFB at all.. Hopefully in this thread got some help to get it decent enough to have fun on track. Somebody else too have asked this: What means Menu spring strenght on FFB setting, it's set to .40 by default. Thanks for helps:tup:

I found Raw didn't give me enough feel so went for Immersive. It seems like a lot of us T300 users are using either that or Informative. Shame it defaults to Raw really.

I have been using informative , I like to be able to get a feeling for the rear breaking loose , think I used FY+SOPLATERAL on Pcars 1 for most cars

Really good FFB, i took assetto as benchmark and with these settings I'm very near to the sensations assetto gives me..... Good work in that aspect @IanBell

Informative

Just a side note, I'm currently lurking all of the threads before I buy Pcars2 to try and make an informed decision. Could anyone having problems confirm that their T300 has latest firmware installed. This is performed through a pc/laptop. Thank you

About a year ago here.. How often they give away those firmwires? Also many of T300 owners stay on factory firmwire because of thinking and reading messes which some updates have done to their set. "If it's not broken, don't fix it." Could surely be better to make that firmwire update if there is one before crying here bad FFB... I'll do it later today and tell here if hopefully it makes any difference. Thanks!

Last time I loaded up new firmware for my T300 it killed it so I'm reluctant to do it again. Managed to resurrect it but was a lot of hassles.

Immersive isn't working for me, massive centering spring effects similar or worse than i had when pcars 1 first released. At least that narrows it down to two flavours now...
I'm finding the telemetry graph handy to see what the ffb is doing and check for clipping.
Back to testing, i have a feeling of deja vu.

Ok so I'm using Raw with Gain set at 80 just so the steering is a little lighter . This is the only thing I've changed along with deadline removal and increasing the responsiveness .
Driving the Cayman GT4 and so far catching it when it breaks loose is very intuitive , I feel I can feel it coming before it happens if that makes sense. So far this feels perfect for me and now I feel like I have the car by the scruff of its neck and can really push it .

We the other two i had strange feedbacks, maybe it's my hardware. We know t300 aren't really reliable.

Any changes to your T150 control panel settings? (strength, constant, periodic, damper)
Yes,i did some changes for pcars 1 and didn't change them anymore.
Strength at max
Constant at max
Damper at 0 and the periodic i don't really remember, i think it was at max also

Mines been going since the release of PCars 1 and it's had some hammer in that time , if it packed up tomorrow I'd definitely have another

How satisfied are you guys with the feel at this moment? I have a T300 GTE and I'm hesitant to buy this title because of the FFB criticism, plus ACG said something negative about the steering response, just the feel not really being there.

Me too. I have a T500 and i´m hesitant in buying this game.
How does the FFB compares to the Asseto Corsa?

In my opinion AC feels more natural and is still a good way ahead.

However, I'm playing Pcars2 because the overall experience is probably the best you can get if you like motorsport.

AC is great but is lacking completeness. Probably the best physics/FFB for console, but little to do with it more than some random time trials.

At first i hated the immersive setting because of the mad centre sprint effect ( but it had good road feeling ).
Went back to it yesterday and found a reasonable set up that i'm happy with for now. Apparantly they know about the tm ps4 issue so hopefully it gets patched.

These settings are nice ! Thanks ! The forces like that are well transcribed, not too strong, not too weak. There is a residual deadzone around the center, like in Pcars1 at the begining. I try to compensate this with a high wheel sensitivity. I hope they will patch this asap...

I put an embarrassing amount of hours into pcars1 overwhelming ffb settings and hated it in the end, but i got the best ffb I've ever experienced from it.
Pleased with the new system though, all i need now is the centreing spring removed, more kerb rumble and wheel loading under braking into corners.
