Since the most track replicas are made on Eifel Flat they are too different to the original tracks, they lose their character because of beeing nailed on flat ground.

I want to suggest to create some track replicas with elevations as close as possible. I think this coul'd be much more interesting than doing a track on flat ground but 100% in scale.

So i made a replica of Sachsenring as close as possible, i know this track by driving it, i still had to differ a bit because of this 600m staight. But with the help of PJs Course Maker and the elevation maps i found here i could find matching elevations and got it very close to reality. I would like to do the same now with other tracks like Phillip Island, but I've never been there nor i can find a elevation map of this track. (Maybe there are some Aussies here to get this done)

What do you think? Are there elevation maps of some tracks or do we need to check out videos to get it done?

I made a few older versions of Fuji using the number 01 home straight on Eifel, 1965 and 1974. I think they came out pretty close. I did 1974 first, mostly from memory. I've never seen video of 1965, but based on verbal descriptions I think it's about right.
