I'd like to get some input from the pro's. My bro is addicted to the gt40 racecar. I've been trying to tune a tuscan to beat the old boy, but it is proving quite difficult. The racecar mass is 980kg (i guess around 2100lb) and has 492hp. My tuscan is 1007kg (2250lb) and has 487 hp. the torque curves appear similar in rev peak and shape, with the tuscan's hp peak occuring later in the rev range.
In a straight line, the two are relatively similar, with the gt40 having slightly longer legs. Unfortunately the tuscan is washing out in high speed sweeps/curves like the S at midfield. My suspension settings are
Springs: 12f/12r
Ride: 90 f + r
Bound/ rebound: 6 all round
Camber: 0.5 f/0.0r
Toe: 0/0
Rollbars: 6/6
Brakes: 17/17
Seems that fixing the mid corner washout induces slow corner oversteer in bags.
Any suggestions???
