Consistent spelling and grammar are important, especially when trying to formulate a post about a tournament you're trying to run. I'm not trying to be a nag, but your post needs some editing.

I may be down to run in a singles tournament, but it has to be ran well and that starts with an easy to read, eligible post, that looks like some effort went into it.

I mean this with the best of intentions. 👍

There is already a formula drift event for the digital drifting community created by OutlawDrifter86 so you might want to change the name.

ProjctD-Keisuke: Please try and clear up your first post. It is incredibly difficult to decipher, even if you already know how Formula D is scored.

You're not going to get many takers, if the contest isn't clear and organized.

;)

Isn't project D supposed to have a battle with Southern Sliders for the team drift comp?

Please edit your first post. Do not post a new reply or reply to this one, just edit the first post so we can get you started.

I honestly have no idea what you changed. It looks about the same, other than having a link to your site and Youtube page.

Let me see if I can explain what the problem is...

Formula D rules are structured so as not to encourage drivers to overtake their opponents; doing so incurs a penalty. Overtaking is only permitted when the lead car makes a mistake such as coming to a complete stop or going completely off course, whereas in D1, being overtaken is seen as a disadvantage to the driver, incurring a loss.

points are given to drivers who compete in the tsuiso (twin drift run) round, known as Tandem Battleing Formula D; 20 for the winner going down to two for the 10th place finisher as well as 1 point for the rest of the drivers who competed in the tsuiou round.Formula D as Qualifying Single Runs and only the best of them will count which at the end of that round, drivers who score the perfect 100 points will be awarded one extra point to add to their championship score. In Formula D, competitors are given two non-consecutive judged runs during the Single Runssegment of the competition which both will be judged. Starting orders will consists of drivers from the lowest rank starting first with those of the highest rank starting last whereas in it is the other way round as it is seen that lower ranked drivers can take advantage of the surface grip when they start last.Formula D drivers are scored on a points-deduction system where every driver will start their judged run with a perfect score of 100 pts. For every mistake, points will be deducted. These points will vary between .25 point to the most several mistakes .When there is a tie in scores during a competition, rather than in D1 which will call for a rerun until the winner can be decided, in Formula D, judges will use the driver?s entry speed of the best run from the Qualifying Round as a tie breaker.2 judges will use the driver?s entry speed of the best run from the Qualifying Round as a tie breaker.

You need to clear all this up. It's one big mess...

Instead of randomly tossing the rules into one big seemingly run-on paragraph, with no discernible order of importance and/or relevance, try and itemize the list. Look at how some of the other competitions are formatted here at GTP for inspiration.

Start with the requirements (maximum HP, tires, track, etc...)
Then move on to the scoring system (rules and regulations)

and so on....

Get my drift? (see what I did there? :sly:)

I helped him a bit..

Stop going into random threads posting the same pictures over and over again, its making you look bad.

On Topic: If you cleaned up the original post this tournament could be a decent idea, but I dont see it getting together 60 drivers, I would recommend 32 or just 16.
