Prologue colour problem

I bought a official second controller when we got our PS3, Now whenever my other half wins a race using the new controller it changes the car he was driving to white (the new controller is white, the PS3 and original controller is black) this doesn't happen if he uses the original controller.

Does any one have any clues as to why this is happening and how to fix it?

The switching to white is a known problem (I think white is the base colour of all cars before they add a layer of paint) but it is usually a bug related to quick tune, never heard of it happening by using different controllers, odd.

ok so does that mean that Polyphony digital know about it and will fix it for the full game?

we're not to fussed that it happens in prologue but we would prefer it not to happen in the full game.

Well I hope they know about it, it would be hard for them to miss as it has been brought up quite a few times and I would imagine they have had the problem themselves, As long as it isn't in the full game.

I only remember seeing cars change colour once. But very very often the scenery or parts of the track changes colour to usually a deep pink/purple or bright green.

Wow thats weird, the only bug I have had a few times is the line coming out of the driver diagonally, looks like the driver was struck down from the heavens.


And I get this wierd diamond shaped balck glitch that appears on the front of the Suzuki Cervo SR when viewed in replay at a distance.

i never had any of those problems. The only glitch/graphic error i encounter is when watching Replays of the Blitz skyline. In replays on outside A-pillar (think thats the right one running along the SIDE of the windshield) there is a black bar, kinda looks like some type of wind diffuser that some of the nascar etc have or the old GTO Drift car Rhys millen used to drive except on the front instead of the back. Not a big deal, but i always thought i was imagining things.
