Prowler a hybrid standard?

With this new cockpit view for standard cars, I couldn't wait to see what cars like the Jay Leno Tank car and Plymouth Prowler would have to offer - seeing as how their interiors are at least textured in to begin with.

While it is cool to get a close up look at all the guages, the tank car's interior is really low-res with very obscure, static guages. Looks like nothing was changed on it in preparation for the standard car interior view.

And then you have the Prowler... though it's clearly no premium in comparison to the models in the NCD, it definitely seems touched upon by PD and given some special attention. The door panels have a leathery sheen to them, and the tachometer and speedometer are operational and readable. There are small little details, like some of the texturing around the center console and the glove box. It just looks like a lot of the interior was actually modeled... very nice suprise.

I had always thought the prowler was one of the better look standards, and now that it has this updated interior - its become some sort of hybrid standard car... not exactly up to par with premiums but much more detailed than the standards.

Are there any more of theses hybrid standards?

I don't think any special attention was given to the Prowler interior. I think everything you're seeing with the new camera view was there pre-2.0. All that detail was there before on open cockpit cars because you could get a good look inside before, even the speedo moved on the prowler before, it's just the new angle is showing you modeling diferences that you really couldn't see before.

These "hybrid" interiors are just a by-product of putting the camera there.....it's the same reason that the shadow interiors all have the proper shaped windows and mirrors of whatever you're driving. It's not a random sillhouette(sp?). People on this site need to now compile a list of all the standard cars that have open cockpits. Now that I'm looking for them, they are SUPER rare. For some reason, before I swear I thought there were some convertible standard cars (non-race cars I mean) that had their tops down so you could see inside. But as it turns out, there is almost none.

So far, not counting race cars all I've seen are the Caterham, Prowler, Tank Car and the GSXR Concept or whatever it's called. I want every one of these special, rare cars. I want to know how many more there are.
