PS3 Fanatec PWTS FFB problems solution found

I have a fanatec PWTS, and have been having problems on the PS3 when playing Shift 2. Occasionally the wheel would go heavy with no force feedback. I have found a solution to this. By switching on a dual shock controller and pressing and holding the playstation button (until the menu option asking if you want to quit the game is displayed) then pressing the circle button to return the game.
This gives full FFB to the wheel. Hope this helps anyone who is having the same issue.

Thanks for the solution! That solved also my problem with the Fanatec RS wheel. Strange issue ...
