Starting today my PS3 has taken an extremely long time to load anything from the harddrive. I am starting to think it might be the HDD itself which is a little over 2 years old. If I buy a SATA to USB enclosure can I use that to backup the data and then take the new HDD out the enclosure and put in the PS3 and go or do I need 3 HDDs to backup my current one? It loads disk based games fine.
Is there something else I should look for? Maybe the Restore Default Settings might work?
Oh yeah and it sometimes has a hard time phsyically loading disks in the system, is this the correct part to resolve this issue?
