ps3 issues

ok basically this is the problem. my 160gb slim stopped reading discs. id put a disc ps3 or dvd (own no blueray) and it goes in i here a wierd sound and additional movement and then there is nothing. i have been searching the interwebz looking for some fixes and i stumbled across ps3lightsfix. now if it does work it would be a great investment but i am not too sure about it being a scam. have any of you bought it and used it and if not what did you do?

Probably laser malfunction. Is it on warranty, send it back. If it's not I think you can do more damage then good trying to open it up and fix it, unless your an expert in these things.
