PS3 - Logitech G25 + Sixaxis Controller: Problem!

Hi, I have a problem and I want to know if other PS3 G25 users have it aswell.

I start up the game (on PS3) and in order to be able to use the G25 I have to turn off the sixaxis controller otherwise I cannot drive with the G25. Than if I need to customise my car, but since it is a pain to use the G25 buttons for customisation, I try to switch on again the controller, but nothing, it does not work or respond. I have to use the wheel.

Btw, if I go into Controls there is only 3 mappings for the Controller but no wheel!

Somebody else has this problem please? Any help as this is a pain? Thanks

Few questions first. Which model of PS3?
Here's a short checklist to do:
1) wheel plugged into port #1 or #3 before loading game
2) Controller set to controller #2
If you do this your wheel should work fine and you should be able to use the controller also.

What is happing is both are being shown as controller #1 the Sixaxis is being read and not the wheel.

My PS3 is the 60GB one. I've bought it more than 2 years ago now.

I don't know which port is assigned to the wheel. What I know is that the controller was assigned #1, but when i changed it to #2 it still did not work. Don't know however which port had the Wheel.

Same here six-axis or G25, but not both.

I just got done loading Shift on my PS3 (60GB/with 500GB HDD) and this is the only way I could do what you are trying to do was this: Wheel in port #1 (far left port or bottom port) depending on which way your PS3 is setting. Play game> if you want to use controller> turn controller on as controller #1> wheel stops working> make changes> then hold (PS button) down turn controller off. The game then says controller not in use (or something like this) to press "start" here press the "start" button on the wheel (third red button from left) then wheel works. As with EA games and controller settings it might be easier to learn buttons on the wheel. I have some pictures and settings for the G25 wheel in my album on my profile page (some even blank) so you can write what each button on NFS games do. Feel free to print and use them.
