Hey everyone, I play on PS3 and would love to get a bit more involved in the game...I'm a new racer (got a G27 recently and HOLY COW has that changed my enjoyment of driving games)...anyway, I was hoping to build some friendships and maybe add a game ID or two...MY auto log has me as the champion of everything, and well, that sucks...I'd like a target time to two to try and beat (though I've seen steve and ussr's stuff on YouTube and well it'll be a while till I can even lose a race by a lap or two to them).

I'm an older guy so my reactions aren't the best, but I try at all times to race clean. Anyway, thanks for having me.

**** I laughed so bloody hard at the blond crack! Well done sir...Yeah, I've been reading enough to know there are a few of you on here who's lap times are a tad quick. Oh well, if I add you on PS3 at least I can tell my wife that I'm not playing video games, I'm interacting with my mates in our chosen form of communications

Shoot, anyone know why autologous crashes on me now? Lrn2swm sent me an invite and I requested each of you, and now when I enter autolog everything just locks up...strange.

You can add me, of course. And for some Autolog challenges, check the thread "Autolog Addiction" 👍

Autolog never crashed on me.. so far. If you have anything shared via autolog, delete it. may be one corrupted picture of replay.

I've read that some "friends" aren't :lol: Actually, I don't know why, but delete everyone, check if autolog still crashes and then send a friend requests again.

I don't think the guys above (at least) will mind. They're all good clean races and above all, good mates 👍
 
I'll try that and see how it goes... I tried it again this morning and it locked up again. If I go to a race I can see Steve's times and lrn2swm's times (I suck soooo bad looking at those times by the way) and its fine, just when I hit the "select" button and go into the full on autolog.

Oh well, I'll uninvite and see how that goes. Thanks for the idea.

I ve had the same problem. For reasons unknown, some psn friends cause your autolog to crash. Sooo... sorry to say but you probably have to erase lrn2swm to stop the crashes. I had the same problem with another guy, its unfortunately completely random who makes autolog crash for you.

Welcome to the bugfest that is Shift 2. Please believe there is a good racing game underneath all that frustrating stupid mess. :ouch:
 
Wow! That worked, just did it and boom! Worked. RomKnight I have requested you - hopefully if you add me it'll still work.

Dunno. You ll have to try that yourself. Maybe request the other way round this time to see if it works then.

Oh and if you want to feel a bit better after dropping your jaw at Rom's records, you can add me aswell. And dont be too scared for that bug, it happened to me once in over 30 PSN friends I found through Shift 2. No reason for panic.
 
Lrn2swm....yeah, I suck at that too!!! I am the quintessential old guy trying to play stuff I was good at a long time ago!!!! I tell you though, that autolog glitch is weird, why would it do that? That's the first bug I've run into.

On a fun note, my 6 yrold son is off today so I took a half day and he and I are building a racing cockpit together....it's been a lot of fun. He loves power tools, though as a carpenter I once again suck dogs balls. Just as well I am great at my job I guess!

I haven't played in a while, but my autolog times are the high end of average. Pretty good, but i'm not a superstar by any means
 
Nuck, thanks... I'll add later tonight....my wife thinks I reading porn now. She asked me why i was sudden,y addicted to the iPad surfing the net and typing messages all the time in the last two days! She doesn't believe me that it's about video racing. She said " surely no grown 40 yr old is that into those stupid driving games"

I am pretty sure that statement is grounds for divorce!

Ok, this is frustrating!!! I had only RomKnight on the autolog after deleting others and it worked fine. Added two more of you and it crashed. Deleted them again leaving RonKnight and now HE crashes autolog as well....ahhhhhhh!!!!

I'll delete you Rom and start over adding one at a time and see how it goes, sorry for the hassle guys.

To fix my same issue i had to delete my pics and vids from the xmb menu. Just dont delete the game save as I did. :dunce: Never saved any more pics and never froze again.

I'm 60 years old and hooked on Shift2...also built my own 'cockpit'.
I use my teenage son's online profile, but no wife to nag me.

Some of the youngsters on there would be really peed off if they saw who it was disappearing off into the distance. :lol:
 
Shoot. Lrn2swm, we added again, and it locked up again...deleted you and it's working again. I guess we will just not be able to be autolog buddies. Sorry mate! Thanks for trying though. I'll keep adding each person one by one too see how it goes.
