PS4 Pro framerate drops when opening the garage

The title explains it all. I go to the garage, and the game goes from 60 fps to 30 fps for no reason. Every other part of the game goes at 60 fps but the garage wants to go at 30. Does someone know why?

I think it's because sometimes there is a cinematic running in the background...

Select 1080p in the Playstation menu and select framerate mode in the GT menu.

Boom... max framerate everywhere!

do you have problems in Willow Springs?
Sometimes and with some cars i see frame drops when the RPM bar starts to blink, specially facing the sun.
PS4 Pro on 1080P.

I haven’t noticed, but I honestly don’t race there much. The settings help with draw distances which are not amazing IMO.

Is this a momentary fps drop when the garage first opens, or does the game only run ar 30 fps whenever you're in the garage? If you play at 4k and it's just a momentary drop, that sounds pretty normal. Menus and replays don't run at a steady 60 fps. But if you play in 1080p and/or the garage never goes over 30 fps, it may be worthwhile to rebuild the PS4's database and see if that improves your performance.

The game always runs at 30 fps when I open the garage until I return to the menu. All the other parts of the game run at 60 fps, and the game resolution is 2K but I have a 1080p television.

EDIT: Ok, maybe I misunderstood what the garage is. I meant the Home menu.
