Another rumor says this game was suppose to have a relationship with Gran Turismo, that it would be Playstation's answer to Forza Horizion, but PD or Sony vetoed that idea

I think a solid sim-arcade racer like Project Gotham Racing would be very nice besides Gran Turismo on the playstation. I liked PGR 3 + 4 a lot and it would be cool to see a sony counterpart.

But it could mean that GT6 will come out later than most predict. On the other side, Sony has no problems to release big games together in a short time periode.
