PS5 GT7 DD Pro Accelerator Stops Functioning When At Complete Stop

My setup is as so:
ClubSport Pedals V3
Gran Turismo DD Pro (8 Nm)
ClubSport Shifter SQ V 1.5

All of these are on the latest firmware. When I crash a manual car the accelerator will rev the engine but the car will not move, as if it were in neutral, regardless of the gear I am in. Tapping the accelerator on the PS5 wireless controller will fix the problem until next time. I disconnected the shifter and it appears to happen while using the paddle shifter as well. Anyone else have this problem or any ideas on the cause and fix of this bizarre behavior?

I have the same wheel and pedals but not the shifter and all fine, try this turn off everything and disconnect the shifter from the base, and turn on everything and try it out. If everything works your shifter maybe causing your problem.

I think I'm just bad at the game. It seems that if I'm using a real shifter I need to let up on the clutch like a real car but disconnecting the shifter without restarting everything seems to sometimes keep the problem around even on an automatic. I think the game should show neutral gear when stopped instead of your actual gear setting until the clutch is down since the car doesn't stall. I was very confused 😂 If you mess around between the shifter and paddle shifter when the car is stopped you can come up with some really goofy results in terms of which shifting method can get the car rolling.
