Here is a different Photoshop contest.

Render (colour in, showing texture/highlights/shade/form) the image below using photoshop. You can do it in any way, any colour. You will have to draw outlines because the picture is a bit blurry.

Tips
-Use the pen tool to create work paths so you can draw outlines.
-Use the burn tool to show shade.
-Use the dodge tool to show light.
-Use layers so its easier to colour.
-Have an "overlay" layer. To do this, use a eliminate white filter on the background and put it on top of all the layers. The filter can be downloaded from, www.edesign.com/filters

I will show examples soon.

Here is a Photoshop render my friend did from a pencil drawing. He is insane. I always wanted to render. Especially the car picture I posted in "Pictures I drew part 2".

Put the overlay layer on top so you can see the outlines after adding colour.

I used the "fill" option under paths to colour the paths in.

Afterwards, I used the burn and dodge tools to add the light and shade(its not looking very good because a.)I am not good at this, and b.)I am spending 1 minute on each step).
