Finally! The new week.
As you all know, I have been quite busy lately so time is tight. I'll do my best to get an entry in this week.

The Car: Buick (?) Tempest.


Competition Ends: Tuesday, September 27, 2005.


As always, I am willing to extend the competition upon request.
If you have any complaints, requests for next week, or feedback feel free to post it here or PM me.

I ask that all entries are scaled down to fit on the computer screen. I do not want entries that are as big as the original.

I will try this out. I will begin my entry tomorrow. Is 800 x 600 pixels ok for a final? I like working with large images to start and then I shrink them when I finish.

800x600 Should be fine. As long as you can see the bulk of the image without scrolling over/down.

I know... upon first sight I thought it was the buick version of the Solstice/Sky. I still think it's on the same platform (Kappa?)

As of yet, I haven't gotten a chop started. I'm not sure if I am going to get one done, but I will sure as hell try.

Skip! Nice to see an entry! Looks really sharp.. something along the lines of what I would done, or at least tried to do.
As I said earlier, I don't think I'm going to get an entry in this week. I'll try tomorrow to get one started.

I work tonight, and have homework to do.

And on the topic of the new week, Are there any car requests for next week??

EDIT - On second thought, I think I'd like to do an entry. I've just had a few ideas of what to do with this. So on that topic, would anyone
object if I took a couple days to do an entry?

Well, I've got an entry going. Not done yet, though.

I think we might use the new Chevy Tahoe (pictures inThis Thread. That is, if I can find any bigger pictures.) for next week.

Awesome! I think that 1st pic will go up as Week 118.

I need a couple more hours to complete my photoshop, but I know I won't have time tomorrow. I'll try and get it done friday, as well as post the poll and new week then.

I might as well make it a 1.5 or 2 week competition next time, seeing as how that's how long it usually lasts.

Oh, and what's the top/interior out of in your car? Looks like a bimmer perhaps?

I like the porthole and the red trim, and what you did to the lower bumper looks good.

But that upper grille isn't working for me....but still, real good job 👍

Wow.
What all did you do? It looks like a Solstice grafted onto the middle section of the original.

not really.. the solstice is the whole nose.. and the sidescoop is airbrushed..
also the cockpit & windshield are from the solstice.. notice the bulges behind the seats..and the wheels/tires are from a prowler.. and the exhaust from an SLR McLaren

I noticed everything listed except the side scoop .
I was trying to figure out what the wheels were off of.


So now, we are just waiting for Cardude's entry. He said he should have it in on Monday, as he has no computer access at the moment.
