PSN Error 80023102

This afternoon I tried to buy GT5 DLC.
When I whent add funds to the account it says
PSN Error 80023102 I hace tried 2 different credit cards I have deleted billing history about 30 times, I have retyped my card number, I tried everything I possibly could but every time it says PSN Error 80023102. I have checked google and I tried everything it said yet it still says PSN Error 80023102.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Try later again I think I got that same error earlyer this year, its only store issue so just bit patience :)
 
Well, there have been some Danes who had this problem too. They contacted Playstation Denmark, the answer they got was, “delete the card data, wait 7 days, and try again”. I don't know if this helps you, in any way, but apparently it worked for the Danes.

I get that sometimes, then it will mysteriously go away for quite a while, just to pop up again when it will be most annoying.

Solution? Buy a PSN card from a local purveyor of such goods or Amazon. Those funds always work for me.

there are no stores in my town that sell PSN cards
 
Yeah, I have had this problem a lot of times too... First, I would like to point out that this happens more often if you have multiple accounts (I have 16...), the more accounts, the more and bigger the problems.
So when I had the problem... I googled it... and I read that you just need to wait it out (no joke), once I waited 4 months... just keep on putting your card info and then trying to buy something... And then delete it (the card info)... And repeat the process everyday for a week, now if that fails, just go to a game store and buy a PS Credit Card (30$ for example).
Now if all of this fails, just contact Playstation Support for your region.

So you can go online, browse the store, use the Web etc? But you only get the error when trying to buy something? That's a shame. I was having some problems getting GT5 online yesterday, I very rarely play downstairs with wifi, I'm usually upstairs on ethernet, but for the life of me I couldn't get online. Mobi and laptop fine but no PSN. Just before going to bed I realised a wireless transmitter that sends my sky digibox signal upstairs was on, when I turned it off, hey presto. I should have known having diagnosed the same problem for countless friends and families wifi and wireless 2.4ghz telephones.

I did what u said about to many accounts. i deleted almost 14 accounts cuz i never used them they were all for wen friends came over, it works now, thanks for your help

for your problem i would suggest deleting mos of your other accounts (only if you dont use them), other than that im clueless

Okay, seeing that I am tired of people posting guessed answers, here is an official answer to this question...

See I made new accounts (now have 16) and I got this error on my new accounts and ultimately on all of my accounts... I tried re-entering card information everyday in each account to see if one worked... And one day I said "🤬 it, I'm calling Sony". So I called, got to speak with an operator and as soon as I told him the error I was having he gave me the reason for it and the solution.

Reason : Apparently if you make a high number of accounts (I am talking about 8+ accounts, or so) with the same name, address, PS3 system and credit card/s this enables the "FRAUD" defense mechanism of the PS Store, blocking you from any transaction.

Solution : Delete all of your credit card information on all your accounts (none can still have credit card information on them) and wait at least 48 hours before re-entering the card information and trying to buy something. Then in theory it should work again.


I hope that that fully responds to this question.
If this does not work, please contact Sony Entertainment Network Support for your region.

ive already deleted most of my accounts cuz they were all friends accounts who come over

I know, I just left my previous post just in case a person searches this error and is looking for a real solution (and not having to delete 10000 accounts).
