Offline too. Tried US Playstation site & it didn't load either. So far I've got 3 different codes: 80710102, 80710092 & 8071058D. Without being to access Playstation who knows what these codes even mean?

Apparently there's this new site out, I think they call it google or something along those lines... and I guess you just type in some letters (try 'playstation' and any one of those numbers) and the site searches for topics regarding what you entered.
Seems weird I know, but a buddy of mine tried it and said it worked really good.
Neato huh?!

I tried to log in earlier today for an hour or so and kept getting a message that started with the number 8. Done trying for today. I also couldn't log into the playstation forums either. A cyber attack huh? Basterds...

Bloody hackers I wish they would just get a life and bog off.
Any one who stands in my way between me and my online play can rot in hell lol.

I have not tried mine but I think I will wait until tomorrow.

Good to see it's starting to work again for a few people on here, unfortunately, I've got no such luck (yet).

My sentiments exactly!

All up in running in Ohio :)

I'll check.

EDIT:
Nope. Still down, at least here in southeastern Ohio.

EDIT 2:
Hang on. I read that I have to do a "hard boot". Lemme try that.

EDIT 3:
Alright, I did the "hard boot", unplugging my PS3 and switching off my modem and router, and now I'm on PSN. In fact, I just did a last-minute trade before the daily reset.

I'm in MI and haven't been able to sign in all afternoon. Just tried again and no luck. GRRRR I really wanted to practice tonight.

Just happened this pm. I'm completely Offline here NorthWest.
Here's the message:

An Error has occurred. You have been signed out of Playstation Network. (8071053D) then (80710092).

Did the suggested actions from PSN notice. Still did not work. DDos might be true.
Oh well, time to boot the S2U. See u there peps.

Oh wow. I'm back now here (NorthWest) but my time changed to military time maybe different server now. Thanks PSN.

Yeah, thanks. I had not heard of that cause I thought the Sony site would have been more accurate.

I had all sorts of errors last night, but managed to get on after doing the following:

Hard boot the PS3; turn off the PS3 to stand-by, flip off the back swtich
and remove the power cable. Unplug router and connect after 5 minutes.

If anyone is still having trouble getting on, try the above.

Just romours, but I heard the PSN network in general has been attacked by "Anonymous" or some group using that name. This being because of the actual lawsuits against Hotz and that Chocobo guy or stuff...

=================================

the whole afternoon already, guess that is the same issue

I believe this has nothing to do with hackers and so, for what i can think of right now is that the radioactivity going in japan has forced to shut down most of the many company servers including SONY, thats what i think and looks the more certain to me.

Including the servers in Europe and the US?

I think that it's the main server, don't know how it works but with all of the disasters going on in japan i wouldn't be amazed if that was the main problem of this PSN error

Sony had better get this issue resolved! People will not tolerate this crap. And this anonymous dude, or group, are not winning any support, either.
