Hi GTPlanet crew! š
Iāve been diving headfirst into GT7 with the PSVR2, and I have to say, the level of immersion is mind-blowing! But, as many of you VR racers might know, staying āinside the play areaā can be a challenge, especially when you get into the heat of a race. The game pauses if you move too much, which is less than ideal when youāre trying to shave seconds off your lap time! š
Now, Iām ready to take things up a notch and build my own motion simulator. Iāve been researching setups like the SFX 100 and SFX 150. My initial plan is to start simple with a 4-actuator platform and then add features like surge and traction loss later on. But hereās where I could really use some help from this amazing community.
Has anyone here tried combining PSVR2 with a motion rig? How well does the headset tracking hold up with all the movement?
I know GTPlanet is full of experienced racers and DIY enthusiasts, so any advice, tips, or personal experiences would be massively appreciated! Once I get everything set up, Iāll be happy to share my progress and results with the community.
Thanks in advance for your help, and Iāll see you on the trackāvirtually, of course! šļøšØ
