Pretty common knowledge by now about how eye tracking works. If you have an idea then...or...Somehow you have intimate knowledge of that the VR update entails? Please share with all of us this top secret information you have obtained.
Also, don't speak for everyone. I am a fan of the game and don't care about any of that.

Right, but how do you know if the VR update already includes (or doesn't) eye tracking?Pretty common knowledge by now about how eye tracking works. If you have an idea then...or...
And try not to tell others what they can and cannot do.
I'm not, but I can still stay when I don't want to be spoken for.Are you a moderator round here? Wow
It has foveated rendering, which requires eye tracking to know which areas to decrease in resolution.Right, but how do you know if the VR update already includes (or doesn't) eye tracking?
There's literally not one thing in his post where he presumed to speak for you, oh, and, foveated rendering,.....look that up 👍Right, but how do you know if the VR update already includes (or doesn't) eye tracking?
You are telling people that all fans of the game believe X, when that is categorically false. How is that any different from my request that I not be included in such a statement?

I'm not sure what you are barking at, but clearly others have shown patience so I bring you this from an article from GTP just a few days ago. See? Now, what say you? Any interesting ideas on how this functionality could enhance GT7 experience?Right, but how do you know if the VR update already includes (or doesn't) eye tracking?

The post says "fans want", it could say 'some' fans want, so I can see the interpretation of the statement even though it doesnt say 'all'.There's literally not one thing in his post where he presumed to speak for you
Indeed, forgot about the title header. Doesn't change the fact that chill pills are a viable option to de-stress.The post says "fans want", it could say 'some' fans want, so I can see the interpretation of the statement even though it doesnt say 'all'.
Also even if there was no presumption implied, a reference to a general presumption could be mentioned as a counterpoint, by making it known that a fan or fans do NOT want the mentioned improvments and features, so it may be used as a caution rather than an accusation.
Possibly no need for any VR (red) mist here, if you pardon the pun, no pun presumed
If I may have not done my most judicious effort in my title, then perhaps he could just have been as civil as you and remind me that a the omission of 'some' is cause for a rebuttal.so it may be used as a caution rather than an accusation.
What non-VR features are you thinking?Assuming of course that non-VR specific features would also be made available without a $550 add-on purchase
Features that don't require VR hardware to implement. Like a fully customizable HUD for example. What non-VR features are you thinking?...What comes to mind for me is, a toggle option mapped to a button to remove the HUD (or just the ability to keep the essentials) mid race. I don't need to see everything all the time and I can handle pushing a button once or twice a lap to see my wear.
Yea, PD should not sequester these features behind a $550 paywall...of course you do realize it cannot replicate the VR experience, but a solid attempt to make it available to everyone (to ALL the FANS) is the 'right thing to do' IMO.Features that don't require VR hardware to implement. Like a fully customizable HUD for example.
And the VR showroom feature they're hyping up could easily be done on a TV display. It's basically GT's version of Forzavista.
Why do you want to adjust the FOV?Haven't played too much in VR yet, but here are my wishes after a couple of hours :
- being able to adjust the seat position / height in the cockpit
- being able to adjust the world scale / FOV
That's just an idea to get world scale right. Have the feeling that the fov is too wide. Could be wrong though. Why do you want to adjust the FOV?
If your IPD is set correctly in the headset, the world scale will be 1:1. There's no need to have a setting for this. That's just an idea to get world scale right. Have the feeling that the fov is too wide. Could be wrong though.
What is sure, is that the world scale is off. A setting to adhust it for each player sensitivity / likings would be really nice..
Maybe Sony will enter into coorporations with Pimax for their next VR headset?...I just want a headset with a wider FOV so I don’t have the goggles effect. 🙏🏻
