Purchase VIP Status

So now people can buy VIP status. I purchased it today, and now I have the crown (goody), and get some more cars (ok), and can race some more rival events (hmmm), and get more storefront space (not going to do a slacker like me any good).

But to make it more interesting, of the 15 dollars that it cost me, I get 5 dollars off the Porche expansion pack, which I was going to buy anyway, and the other 10 bucks go to disaster stricken children?? Say Whaaatt?? http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/forza_4_vip_membership/

I know some people complain about T10 being overpriced and money-hungry, with the regular release of all this DLC, but does this buy them a little redemption?

What are your thoughts on this whole deal?

I never thought they were money hungry.. never understood why people thought 7 dollars is a large sum of money. Even this Porsche pack, if i still had the game i would buy it full price with no hesitation. I just never understood why people complain about things that are improving the game.. Its a simple buy it or dont situation but still they find things to complain about.

T10 was never bad in my books, so there is no redemption needed in my opinion. Good to see that they are doing charity though thats a 👍 from me, a happy customer.

I'm new here, what is the bad rap with Turn 10? They created a game, made money. Is that the issue?
