What you think people drift machine or toaster ? Place your bets now

Ps I think it will do well with a few tweaks here and there and 200k spent on her

I'm relatively new to drifting but I would assume (fully tuned) it'll be like a fully tuned 599, which does good with ch/cs tires(Front/Rear)

My DB9 is good enough if I remember right. Mine have all upgrades except engine upgrades on comfort hard. Haven´t tuned the suspension either

The DB9 is easily one of the most controllable, stable drift cars, at least for me it is. It handles incredibly well.

Almost 1400kg, but feels like a car with less than 1000kg.

I like all Aston Martins for drifting, except the DB7 Vantage Coupe (only because the look). My rate order for the Aston Martins are:
DB9 ´03 > Vanquish > DB9 ´06 (DBS) > DB7 > Vantage ´99

The DBS is a pretty nice car, but when you against with a Ferrari California, RX7 FD, SLS AMG, BMW M3, ISF... maybe you will regret a bit of pick this car as ur main. But don´t worry, its all about learning curve (buy, tune, improve, train...). Sometimes i buy a car because i need a good car to drift and sometimes i simply want a car because i like it and i want to drift using it.

i have resently aquired a db9 i ussally get minor mods i think its an up level drifter that requires an experianced drifter. but it is a bit more loose than other cars ive used

Easily one of my favorite drift-machines, sooo smooth and with just the right amount of power/torque. It does benefit from tuning in some extra oversteer though :)

Would compare it to the 599, XKR and similar machines.

Again, great car! :)

The key to getting a perfect controllable drift with a 550PP tuned DB9 is to get your 3rd gear ratio in the transmission set to 2.0xx. I just lowered my top speed setting until it came into spec. Second gear will become useless, but 3rd gear will initiate easily yet remain fully controlled. It will become easy to re-light or re-grip the tires when hot by feathering the throttle.

Same here. I've tried finding a car I felt I can drift to my style. I went through at least 5 cars before I tried the DB9. It handles very well for me even when I'm being aggresive in my drifting. Just a few uprgrades (kept the trans stock) and using manual trans to keep it in 2nd gear and it'll drift all day.
