btw! and this is for Litchi mostly.

After tech inspections are complete, the track will be reset to begin the weather simulation with the settings I pointed out earlier!

YEa, no prob, i'll reset ;)
I'm not sure 80 laps is useful to be safe cause lmp can only do 16 laps in 1hour (48 laps in 3hours). Personally, i set 55 laps ;)
 
Yeah, I set it to 50 myself initially. Anything above that's good. Cheers have a good race, see you in 3 hours :D

Just send the LMPs over to D1, then send GTs here until we have a full grid. I would sooner have a full grid then mixed class.

FML!! damn dog hit was messing around my power cable and by time I got to him he killed my power, sorry guys that irks me I couldn't finish. I was having some fun in the rain.
 
I'm sorry guys, but I couldn't make the distance. Stayed up late this last night on another series' race, and with a soaked track, I was too tired to go on.
 
Need a new crew chief. Went in to put rain wet tires on from inters and I came out with inters on still with over 70% surface water:lol::lol:
 
Sorry about the D2 mess guys, really am. I should've contacted all of the drivers yesterday for confirmation.

But the race went - hah.

It was amazing, dry for the first hour, Tony and I pulled away, then it started raining slowly, then after about 20 minutes it started pouring and it caught me off guard, stayed out too long on slicks, then too long and inters, then got inters again by accident with 65% coverage and that was it, started falling back spinning otu every were hard.

But in the beginning it was quite exciting, Tony and I caught up to the main GTE pack after like 15 minutes and had to fight hard through traffic, felt incredible, like we were really at Le Mans for that one moment, just really cool.

I'm so proud of every one that did the challenge of 3 hours, we wouldn't had every one in D1 finish if Dragon didn't have his problem so it was really great to see that. D2 deserves nothing less than the same recognition, this was not easy and there's hardly any group on Earth that I believe can pull something like this off as we did, I applaud you all for your effort :cheers:

I'm gonna take a well deserved rest now, congratulations to Tony and Remy for winning their races, hats off.
 
I finished first (and only finisher) in LMP, but got beat by a GTE car... :confused:
 
Rain messed up my race, that's for sure.
I was able to do 7 lap stints in the dry, so I was about to catch up from a bad start.. Then the rain came... And NEVER stopped..
Not saying I could've won.. But I'd be closer..

BRONCO amazed me with his pace in the last 3rd of the race.. I made a mistake, and BOOM, he flew past and in to the distance.

Gratz to Tony and Remy for their respective wins!

Oh, really sad so many guys did'nt show for the D2 race.
I saw you sent me a PSN message Jeff, but we had already started.
Would ofc have been much better to do two single class races..

Congratulations to Tony, OK8 and Paginas for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in LMP 👍 and Congratulations to Remi and WiiFreak for 1st and 2nd in GT.

WiiFreak awesome race, rarely saw you over the three hours but couldn't have been closer at the finish. I got passed in between the last two chicanes (0.605sec) :D
 
Before the race I did a rain dance and it worked. At first I was struggling a bit to keep up with the "secondary pack" with Dragon, Paginas and Mr. Le Mans but once the tyres wore more I started to find pace and managed to overtake a couple cars. Had a really nice little race with Dragon as we went side by side in Mulsanne corner and were in a drag race for the following straight.

I kept looking at the clouds and figured rain will start soon and it was at a perfect timing for me. My stint was just about to end and with 15% surface water I went for intermediates. On the next lap I overtook such a huge line of cars on the pits and never looked back after that.

During the rain I got pretty close to Tony a few times but blew my chance by overshooting a couple braking points and soon after I was just focused on keeping 2nd place.

Nice driving by all the GT guys. Only once I had a scare when a Corvette was moving quite slowly on the straight and couldn't see it from the spray but luckily it was just a close call.

Race was well long. I made some mistakes. Had one induced but I could of avoided. Will next time. I was racing towards the laps. With less then to go. I am in 3rd overall and decent lea over 4th. Running hard a I assumed me was going over 3 hrs to the 55 laps. I wrecked my car. Pit and come out 5th. Two Laps later they call race over. Was told to finish my lap and caught Mule. To finish 4th overall. The end was goofy for sure.


We got ran before dark. Rained hard and 100% water all night and well into morning. Skies cleared and track was drying. Stayed clear. Track dried out for the last few laps.

Mule honestly. I think the leader called the race before you and I finished the lap prior to me passing you. So that seems to be the lock spot. But someone did say do another lap. So I ran it.

I kinda screwed myself and feel your pain.

Eitherway epic race on your end!!! Finishing this beast is a win. Doing so on the podium. Even better.

I'm sorry Steve, but it's clearly explained in the regulations, you must finish your lap when the winner says "checkered flag"

Races are ended by time, not lap count. The leader of the LMP1 class will end the race by crossing the line for the last time once the pre-determined race time has been passed. He will then immediately slow down to type out the words “checkered flag”.

Any drivers who had started their current lap before the leader crosses the finish line (“on the lead lap”) may complete that last lap. Anyone finishing between the time the leader finished his lap and the waving of the checkered flag are done. Winners and positions will all be confirmed after the race and be posted on the CALM website (linked in results and championship on the thread OP).

It was fun runing with you, it was definitely going to be an interestin final hour for our race, you seemed to had gain the advantage on strategy. Just as I catched back up to you and got pass(on my screen) I got disconnected. Definitely frustrating after enduring 1.5hrs of wet and 2hrs of racing. I think we went the opposite way for the start of the race, LMP was supposed to start ahead of GT-E...
Anyways, it was good while it lasted, I really hate the rain in this game specially when runing 5-7 brake bias! All in all had a lot of fun racing with you guys, wish we had more LMP cars on our div.

Before u speak about somebody get your facts straight. I didnt rage quit!!!!! I just couldnt do the rain with wheel anymore was killing my shoulders fighting the wheel basically the whole race.
 
Saying "this is stupid" in the chat in the middle of the race, then leaving the room smells like a ragequit to me.
