Guys guys. It was a long and grueling race, don't let it turn us on each other. :)

Thanks for the race guys. It was crazy. Guess an endurance like this will always be crazy, but of course in an unexpected way ... two hours of rain, so much that we did not even get night, it was just cloudy all the time.

I got down to 3:40, and pitted for intermediates on lap 20, but had to pit again for rains on lap 22, so finally got lost by OK8 and Paginas there after having some interesting pit strategy games going on. Went on with Dragon close behind until he dc'ed, and at some point I passed team-mate Ed who was having severe trouble :(. So that was 4th until the end.

I forgot to save the replay, I have no idea how far I was behind OK8 or Paginas. I ended up around 4 mins behind Tony.

More rain practice would have been good, it took the better part of an hour before I felt somewhat comfortable with it.

I never got below 4.15 in the rain. That might have been reasonable if it was not for the little off or spin every second lap or so. Even TC could not keep it from wanting to spin in the chikane exits, even the GTE's pulled away there. I guess their higher weight gives them more grip, I just had so little of it.

What an experience. Brutal is the word that comes to mind. Would I do it again? Probably yes! :)

Congrats to everyone for fighting through it! And thanks Wardez for making it all happen!

Saying "this is stupid" in the chat in the middle of the race, then leaving the room smells like a ragequit to me.

I must of ran like another 10 laps after that. Either way i dont need to explain myself to you. Just dont see why you even need to bring my name up period.

Nice driving by all the GT guys. Only once I had a scare when a Corvette was moving quite slowly on the straight and couldn't see it from the spray but luckily it was just a close call.

Think that may have been me , I spent alot of time with damage :ouch:. Twice I came out the pits towards the end of the race and crashed at the first corner and drove the whole track with engine damage.

Me and my car did not like the rain at all :scared:, but I did do my best to make sure I didn't hit anyone and tried to let everyone by who was lapping me.

Think my best moment in this race was overtaking (un-lapping) gprili near the end it was first my overtake after like 3 hours of racing :dopey:, then I crashed right before the end and he lapped me again .

But for all my troubles I gained one place :D, thanks Dragons dog...... who's a good boy ;).

Rain for 90% of our race, I didn't simulate that, it was quite a handful! Anyways week long practices are worth 2 & 3 hour races, count me in for the future. I ran two accel button functions to give my fingers a rest in between stints, but at the cost of not having a e brake for the o s**t moments. See you guys in 2 weeks if my kid doesn't get in the way. I hope that didn't sound too wrong, lol!

Brutal, but awesome race 👍 After that, I never want to run in the rain again. Not only is it grueling to drive in, but it also ruined my pit strategy and strangely, the day/night cycle.

I was planning on doing 7-8 lap stints the entire race, however once it started raining buckets my strategy was out the window. It didn't help that it started raining heavily right in the middle of my stint, forcing me to make an unscheduled stop. When I pit the rain was at about 30%. I knew that inters were much faster in those conditions, but I put on rains as I knew the rain wouldn't stop. I lost time on the out lap, but everyone had to pit again the following lap for rains while I did not, so overall I gained a good amount of time from that.

After that my race was rather lonely. Remy caught and passed me as if i was standing still, and I was passed by the odd LMP every once and a while, but otherwise I was alone.

I only made two major mistakes the entire race, one was when I spun out the Porsche Curves. Luckily I was already at the end of my stint anyways so I didn't lose too much time.

My other mistake was taking to little fuel on what was supposed to be my final stop. I ended up pitting for another 15 liters with under 10 minutes to go. This allowed jtv to get by. However he was on worn tires, while mine were fresh. I ended up chasing him down and catching him at the Porsche Curves on the final lap, and it was obvious he had no tires left as his car was sliding all over the place. I got onto his back bumper going into the final two chicanes. I held behind him in the first chicane, but I managed to sneak down the inside between the two chicanes as his car slid like crazy, and tucked in front of him though the last chicane.

That continued the ridiculous trend I've been having. Every time I've raced at La Sarthe, it has always ended with me having a close battle in the final chicanes. Season 1 of the IWC, the Elise series, another endurance series race which was with a different group of guys, and now this race in CALM, have all ended with me battling it out with someone else in the final chicanes.

Congrats to Tony and Remy for their wins, and congrats to everyone else who managed to survive this intense test of endurance 👍

It was fun runing with you, it was definitely going to be an interestin final hour for our race, you seemed to had gain the advantage on strategy. Just as I catched back up to you and got pass(on my screen) I got disconnected. Definitely frustrating after enduring 1.5hrs of wet and 2hrs of racing. I think we went the opposite way for the start of the race, LMP was supposed to start ahead of GT-E...
Anyways, it was good while it lasted, I really hate the rain in this game specially when runing 5-7 brake bias! All in all had a lot of fun racing with you guys, wish we had more LMP cars on our div.

I think that had you stayed in, it would have been pretty much a straight fight to the finish. My mistakes on-track were made up for my having the right tire on at the right time (usually). I burned through a set of inters after my first pit stop before the track was really wet enough to use them, and we were both on fresh wets when you DC'd. My last hour was absolute crap though; I could not seem to keep the car going in the right direction, and took damage three times. If the GTE field had started behind the LMP's, like in real life, I wouldn't be so mad at myself right now. I should be elated, because hey, I won Le Mans, but now I'm just :indiff:.

This was the single most worst race ever, exactly why I wanted to skip GATE on saturday everything that I had bad feeling of in GATE happened here.

Punted twice and ran into litchi going off early all on, all of which cost me over 3mins in the first hour then was very close to rage quitting but I drove around for the next 2hours on my own in last anyway!

Never again am I racing from pole in D2, next time i'll just skip it.

When you get pissed off over a silly game, I think it's time to start scaling things back. I can't seem to catch a break at all lately, and it's getting incredibly frustrating.

My motivation is at an all time low. Not sure if I'll race Nurburgring or anything after that. Not sure if I'll be joining any new series' either, and you can pretty much scrap my plans for my Camaro series.

I still finished 2nd, and nobody is going to take that away from me. a well deserved result after a fun, intense race at my best track in the game.

Thank you very much for race!!. I love the real-time weather and races. But today is so upset about some things and not finished. At the start that few of us. 3, LMP is very little. The first hour was great, it rained for three LMP is closely went through many rounds, were fast in the GTE-and cars as well. Changed the lights came on at night, light rain is very good. Then a few hours after the already stepped out from the lounge "king best ' Then came the great heavy rain. I think it is no longer realistic, and it was not my felkészülve.Brake 6-4, LSD acceleration is high, low springs ... car broke every 3rd round. nearly two hours at 100% .... it can not rain but floods. Then I parked JAV pits. There was an hour behind, unfortunately, has left a 2 LMP and 7GTE: (
It would be nice if it would be who gets in the race. Full lounge to enjoy only a 3-hour race. Behind for race to check something and did not run smoothly, unfortunately. could have been good overall, but maybe next time. Unfortunately, two weeks later, I can not take part in the race, then in August (normally prepared for rain too .. :)) I want to run race at Monza. Everyone in the meantime I wish you a good summer. hello u.i.: sorry due to poor knowledge of English. :) I hope you understand at least half

Yeah i got into you coming to start lap 2. I think it was litchi who got into grass exit of last turn and me and you were right behind him he came back onto track and i went to go to the right but so did you. Sorry i hit you but definetly had no way of avoiding you, we just got the worst of Litchi getting in grass. I think worst part was going a whole lap with engine damage and wheel damage. My wheel was shaking and rattling whole lap lol was a handful.

Not you King these two incident were 1 one 1 things I had with 2 different drivers. I never blamed you for that if anything on my screen i'd of blamed Litchi for shooting straight back across the track instead of going straight until we all passed, that was unfortunate for both of us, I also had full engine damage ect.

Yeah it was the worst feeling having to go that whole lap with damage watching the split time get bigger and bigger lol.

That cost me time but was glad to not wrecked car. LoL

Rain couldn't be "dialed back" more than where it was at. So next time, when we do this as a spot race in late Fall of this year, there will be no rain.

I'm shocked :scared:

I started so well the race, after few pits I was on first!! But then the rain destroyed my race :grumpy: :yuck:

Glad to read that!! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Hope I can get my connection issues sorted for that!

Judging from all the feed-back its seems the rain needs to be dialed back some' 👍

Personally, I loved the challenge that the rain presented. Nigh impossible to drive in, but really fun to try. :)

I liked the rain as well. In fact, I think it was my only chance to finish well. Having barely made D1, finishing in 2nd wasn't bad.

I also like the rain however made a few silly mistakes but I was only losing a couple of seconds from tony when I did a good lap

yep... the first hour was great with you me, and jv running flat out in the citroens (I know I was pushing like hell running 54's to keep the draft gap to jv behind me while trying to reel you in). I think you were pitting 1 lap earlier than me and jv so we'd jump you then wii would jump us all with the Nissan's outstanding wear. I was running 6 lappers, think I had the tire for 7 but with the pace we were pushing I didn't want to risk it.

In the middle of my 3rd stint it starts to rain and it was a nice gentle sprinkle. The track was piling up 1-2% per lap and so when my scheduled lap 18 window came along I thought I was good to take another set of drys @ 8%. But then WHILE I'm rolling down the pit lane the deluge started, the crew was already holding dry tires so it was too late to do anything but weep. By the time I'm out of pit lane the track was already over 15% so I ran 1 lap and came in for inters @ 30%. Ran two laps on inters and jumped into the busy pit lane for full wets @ 60%.

I didn't get any practice in the rain so that's pretty much where it all just fell apart. Had a horrible spin coming out of the Esses before Tertre Rouge and EVERYONE passed me. :(
No damage but I had to park it and wait for the road to clear + the bad tire stops and at that point my hope for a podium was gone. So I just went into cruise mode waiting for the storm to pass. Didn't make any more mistakes for the first hour of rain and was doing 4:27-4:30 lap times, but with zero rain practice and a dry setup I had no idea if that was good enough. Throw in that the rears were getting chewed up in 3 laps on the rains and the race just kept getting more and more depressing as the typhoon kept on.

By the end I was just tired of it. All the fun had been vacuumed out of the race and my concentration started fluctuating as I was just watching the clock get closer to 3 hours so I could finally put a nail in the coffin. Spun it something like 5 times in the last two stints losing the last places I had to corda and hancock on the last couple laps.

I hate GT's rain. When you have the time-scale set to run 24 hours in 3 and you get a deluge that lasts the equivalent of 18 hours; how *realistic* is that?

I might moan less if I'd found time to get any wet practice in, but it still has a tendency to ruin the fun. Makes me wonder why we continue to run with weather at all.

We had rain from lap 5 to like lap 30 ish which was 85-90% of the race and just to add to my misery the Audi sucked in the wet...

Yeah, I'm totally over rain. With the settings we had I really thought this "never stop raining" thing would be avoidable but PD just cocked it up so I'm never running a "random" weather race again, it's either 100% all the god damn time, or nothing.

The torque curve on the Audi made it virtually uncompetitive, I was passed by most of the GTE field, put it that way. The 908 seemed to be really good in the wet, maybe the 200 kg weight disparity between the Audi and the other two LMPs had a part in it?

Anyway, to those that did well in the wet, I honor you, it's seriously an achievement, Tony fighting the Toyota for two hours to get it across in first with Otto's 908 creeping up and Remy taking his R8 to victory with how hard it was to drive and Wii and JTV pressuring him the whole time. You guys are immense!

Our rain wasn't a downpour, but a slow, constant drizzle. Took a long time to hey up to 100%. Then, not long after the sun came up, it stopped.

I wish I could have made this race, even with all the frustrations for people, an endurance in rain with heavy damage is something I've always wanted to do once. When I did the A-spec Le Mans not one drop of rain fell the entire race.

Hey guys a question. My World Sportscar Championship guys are running a 500 kilometre race of Le Mans 2005 NC this sunday. I know its less than what you guys ran, but it is still the longest race of our championship and longest I have ever run myself... would have any advice on how to condition yourself for the race? To stop your concentration from going?
