So what I'm thinking is a series of mixed class races, sixteen competitors, eight in a 500hp '07 GT-R and eight in a 300hp '07 STi with Sport Hard tires.

The concept's a road car racing counter-part to Super GT, mirroring two of the main cars from the series.

It'll be a simple series of 5 sprint races on Christmas eve (around 20 GMT) on different tracks. Qualifying will be done before each race.

Become champion of either discipline, in one day!

If at least 4 people state their dedication in each class we'll get some more details settled.

Thanks

I'm down.. But, I'm not going to buy the DLC as it looks. Don't want another GT-R.. lol

I just need to know a few details.

Christmas eve (we celebrare x-mas on the 24th in Sweden, so just need to straighten this out):
Is that on the 24th or the 25th?

hah, ah, yes that's this Saturday.

And about the 2012 GT-R. That's a typo, it'll be the '07. 👍

Im down for the scooby as long as its the one im thinking of (The saloon) 👍.

The saloon's the 2010... think that'd be better? The '07s the hatchy.

They're virtually the same, performance-wise, so it'd just be a question of looks...

And I really don't love the look of those tail lights on the saloon/sedan. :D

I personaly despise the hatch Subaru (Even though I love hot hatches) as not only did it kill Subarus WRC programe due to being so rubbish and uncompetitive, it also ruined the general shape of Subarus that we have all fallen in love with. Seeing a hatch WRX just never looked right and imo never will. All that is OT but I thought id say it (Its might be a Scottish thing the old mcrae scoobys made me  and my favorite Subaru is the 2003 WRC :D)

Its still better than the GTR mind you :sly:.

In up for it wardez. I've told my mates I'm not going out as I need to save money for my south africa trip. Just depends on what the misses wants to do Lol

Thanks guys.

And yeah, since Sweden celebrates it on the 24th might it be better to do this on the Friday?

Go with Saturday. I can't Friday, and as it looks, 20.00 (GMT) Saturday might work. I'm at my parents house the entire day, but somewhere around 8 PM is when I've had enough food anyway.. lol

I'll let you know. 👍

Ah, Saturday it is then. I'm gonna be a GT-R myself :D.

Cool stuff 👍

Yeah and we're gonna allow one dropped round (incase of d/c), so only your best four count.

Sweet :D Not sure what car to choose yet will take them for a spin later or if you need more people for one of the classes i'll jump in that one.

I'll just go with the STI '07 if thats cool... me likey :D

So we still going with this Wardez 6 hours to go :).

Yeah we're still going. Although this may end up turning into an experiment of sorts. Tuning's allowed, I'll share two I think's effective enough for both sides. We'll be doing 5 tracks. 15 minute races, no mandatory pits.

Races
1st - Cape Ring South
2nd - Monza (chicane)
3rd - Nurburgring GP/D
4th - Tsukuba
5th - Grand Valley East Section / Reverse

And yes, rolling starts.

Still need to figure out a good headstart time to give the 300s.

So are all parts allowed ? ie should I install engine upgards and limit car or just buy custom suspension, LSD ect

All drive train updates are allowed.

We're could use the "tuning restricted" option in the lobby since the cars are close enough to the prescribed series power level (303 & 478)

But we also have the option of using the '07 GT-R and '10 STi from the recommended garage.

Yup, just like the old regular Friday WSGTC time.
