I got GT3 RS V2 + Clubsports for $310 shipped on Christmas special November 2010.
The wheel had just come out and they did some 1/2 off deal if you bought it with clubsports. I was so happy with the deal I picked up the rennsport stand 6 months later for $100.

For 310 I'd have snatched them too.
Already got the stand 2-3 months ago though. Possibly a new TV for my room this week as well.

Well, if the series needs a replacement driver, I suppose I could come back. Sometimes, my connection somehow fixes itself after patches.

Tried this new update a bit. Used a bit more technical tracks than Le Mans. Laguna as it was the last race at a technical track and Suzuka as its a great test track.

Quite a big change in how the car handles. Significant understeer to the point that exiting a corner is more or less impossible to slide the rear even if just slamming the throttle. Its like driving a slot car. Cornering is mostly about what speed you carry. If you too fast you go wide (or off with a slot car) and if too slow you will lose time. Most car control is lost as you cannot lose the rear. Its only about balancing speed/understeer and what line you take through the corner.

I never drive offline, but this is probably how offline been all the time.

Tried to change the setup to get rid of the understeer, but not very successful so far.

Overall pace is not that different, perhaps around 0.7sec/minute slower. But who cares, the game has turned much more arcade like.

Edit: A good description in how the cars corners..... The faster you go, the bigger is the radius of your turn, the slower you go the sharper is your turn. That's about how you drive the cars now.

It's all about how you enter the corner.
Enter too fast, and you need to reduce speed to make it.
Imo, this perticular aspect is less arcady with 2,09..

Still not totally happy with the feel of the rear though..

I'm only willing to take over for someone that wants out, so we can keep a full field. Just let me know who I'll be replacing.

Perhaps a XANAVI GT-R as well.
But we need to see which car Nissman ends up in as well.

Nissman seemed pretty into the idea of an HSV and we might have two of those to hand out.
That's the direction I'd like to go.

Consolidation of the extra GTR team was always my primary course of action with large drop-outs.

I feel confident when saying that no one will go under 1:44's.

Doesn't matter where I go. I think it's a safe bet that I'll be in D1 every week, and that I could either finish near the podium or last because of a disconnect.

Xanavi's gonna get filled with a member from GT Surgeons. I'm currently negotiating a current trade.

Btw guys, we are making a new list of drivers that will be on reserve. Some teams for the next couple rounds will only have two drivers, but the thing is that the two drivers are expected to be at every round. The only problem now is filling a spot on team Supra since GV27 and Mule are going to be on reserve status for the next two races. Currently PM'ing different drivers about switching teams in order to balance everything out.

And team Yellowcap won't be stacked
Outlaw's on the same level as me and old Josh.

And I'm at work right now so I'll have the info. concentrated through the driver tracker thread later tonight.
