I've done my searches for this particular car...Now from what I've seen everyone believes this car to be just a special colour. Though I believe this is not the case.

When you play 2 player head to head the game only selects "race" tires for the car the standard sport tires like the normal GT. Secondly I've been able to get to 220mph down the mulsanne straight straight, 212mph in a standart GT. Now I don't know if anyone has done asy tests on the suspention or braking but I do believe that this particular GT (the pure white GT) to have better braking and suspension.

Can anyone confirm this??

Some say that 2 player mode uses different physics (I myself am not sure) to that of GT Mode. Also, note that in two player mode, the cars all have stock settings, apart from the tires. I can't confirm the colour query for you; I never really noticed to be honest!

*Can you clear your post up a bit? It's a little all over the place!:)

Sounds like you're describing the differences between the Ford GT '05 road-car and either the '02 Le Mans race-car or the '04 Le Mans Spec-II race-car

Well its not those two cars I mean this one (in the foreground):

Is it from your replay? If it is, you can just scroll over to that car by pressing the Up and Down directional buttons - the name will appear. To me, it looks like the ordinary Ford GT '05. Could be the '02 Concept, though, or the '69 one.

Oh no thats from my gallery I was playing with the angles but I was driving the white GT. That GT is won from the Premuim Sports Lounge, in extreme hall.

No Idea. Try to win all 5 versions of the Ford GT (A couple of them are won in the Endurance hall), and then check in Arcade if they're available in Full-white livery.

EDIT:

Problem Solved ;)

Try yourself if it's different, and write us about it.

I myself have won the Premium Sports Lounge championship twice and got a Blue and a Red Ford GT that are without stripes. Haven't really compare them performance wise with the ones with stripes, however..

I never find myself able to drive them in Arcade Mode (except the 2 player battles). Let alone my other cars from my Gran Turismo Garage.

My question is, how do you select your white GT (without stripes) in Arcade Mode?

Just like you do to any car - select the make, car, and then color. Although if it's a special/rare color, it won't appear there - like the Black LMPs don't.

Its like the Aston special colour you can't select it Arcade, buy you can select it from your personal garage in head-to-head.

Gingiba, thank you. I just found out that he actually mentioned that he tried it out on the 2 Player Battle mode, which is completely doable with the Garage cars. I misread the thing, thought that he actually tried the all white GT out in the Single Race/ Time Trial modes, which confused me for a second.

There is a glitch with the non-striped Ford GT that I first heard about during the week 9 of the Tuning Competition. The thread is here, in particular this post by Toronado.

Not restricted to the white one - any stripeless GT has this glitch. Hope this helps.

no difference on paper. only main difference so far is the looks. (mines black and i put black rims on it it looks E.V.I.L.!!!!!!!!!):sly:

Downforce is different, and strangely, they seem to handle worse in 2 player battle mode than the regular GT does.

Certain colors do look great without the racing stripes though!

In my 300MPH testing, I noticed that the Ford GT '05 solid color has less downforce default (and, as such, maxed out is less as well), which causes it both to handle worse and go faster. It also suffers from a glitch in what races it can enter, I beleive. I reported my findings to the Tuning Comp Week 9, as was posted, to tell of it. Oddly enough, they all (including the '02 Concept) top out at 297.
