PX21 chat issue on PS3

I was playing BF4 on my PS3 and the chat from the other members in the sqaud was very faint. They cold hear me just fine and the game audio was perfect also. I checked all the settings on the Ps3 and on the PX21 and all were set up correctly. I then took the PX21 and put them on a laptop and tried a youtube video. The sound was perfect on the video but once again just the voice was very faint.
