We'll I'm really just being introduced to this by this guy here. He's recruiting his subscribers (mostly underage)

(Slight language Warning)

I was introduced by someone about Vemma and they tried to get me to join them in this little money making scheme. I noticed that the person didn't bother explaining the details to me personally but sent me to the website which was extremely vague and weak in giving details so I gracefully declined knowing something was up.

Ones wondering what this is? Heres an idea.

Or in other ways

Has anyone been approached by this ********? It really angers me to see others being taken advantage of.

Guy's gamer tag is "Like Butter". Presumably because he thinks he's smooth. Bitches love Ponzi schemes.

So a bunch of man-children want you to give them money. What is there to discuss here?

Well the fact that people are trying to benefit from others by screwing them over with vague and decieving 'business' practices doesn't frustrate you? It doesn't benefit anyone in the lower levels, and there is no product being sold.

The same can be said of a lot of things including street bums and many charities. You can get frustrated over it or you can ignore it and have a better life.

It is what it is. In my opinion that mindset doesn't get you far in life, if your idea of "supporting yourself" is mooching off your girlfriend and scamming people who trust you, then you're probably not going anywhere in life regardless of what some snake oil salesman tells you.

I remember being invited to a meeting promising a great business opportunity, turned out to be Amway. Then about 3 years later my neighbor wanted to meet with me about a job, he was secretive about it...since he owned a small business as an electrician I thought maybe he wanted help...turns out when he asked me to come over there were other people there and lo and behold it was another Amway meeting :( They really do try to pump you up with talk about fancy cars, freedom and vacations, and their fake testimonial videos.

I did a bit of digging on these guys last night and it's pretty sad stuff. The "free BMW" is a lease that gets taken out in your name and the company puts up $400 a month for it provided you stay at a certain "level" of performance. If you drop below that level, the money gets cut off and they stick a college kid with a $40,000 lease on a BMW that they have no way to pay back.

The people also seem to adopt a cult of personality that Kim Il Sung could only dream of. Anyone who calls this out for being a pyramid scheme is a "hater", and they're the chosen ones that open minded enough to make it. These people actually believe they're entrepreneurs and doing god's good work by peddling this BS to their closest friends.

One of my co-workers was trying to get people to do the vemma thing with him. He ended up not doing it after everyone told him how stupid it was. At least it's only shady instead of a complete scam.

It really is amazing how little research some people do before investing money into something, especially a company that they've never heard of.

Pyramid/Ponzi/"multilevel marketing" schemes have been around for eons. Welcome to the real world.

I don't know. For every 1000 people thinking Amway is a dumb idea there's one who is making bank selling what nobody else wants to.

And for every 10000 people thinking it's a great idea and buying in, 1 guy makes bank and 10 guys barely break what they'd make working at minimum wage. I don't know if Amway is any different but they aren't selling a product here, the circlejerk is the product. These energy drinks are $3 a can, there's no way anyone is actually selling them.

Amway funds about 40% of the total donations to my workplace, I can't hate them.

I don't get the reference.
The energy drinks this company from the OP gets you to buy. They sell them to you at $3 a can and the company line is you're supposed to resell them.

:censored:iest odds ever.

Just remember folks, if anybody can make tons of money by doing someone else's "idea", wouldn't everybody be doing it? There's no such thing as get rich quick, or "make $$$ in one week", etc. becasue then we would all be doing it, and we would all be rich. There are two ways to get rich quick; be incredibly lucky and win via gambling, or come up with a truly original idea and work incredibly hard to see it through.

That's why college students try and do it, I always look into the bigger details if someone tells me I can make a-lot of money in a short amount of time.
