I can drift it very well now and I'm able to drift longer or with more style than he did in his video in some places but I am having two problems controlling the drift which are driving me crazy. Actually its one problem that happens at two different times during the drift. The first time is when I downshift during a drift, and the second time is when I let off the throttle completely. When I do either of these the car jerks where the front of the car spins to far into the drift to get it back straight again. Do you understand what I mean? If I am drifting sideways and either of these things happen, The car will suddenly jerk towards the inside of the corner where I can't get it straight again. It doesn't do a spinout but it just suddenly spins a little more into the corner. I didn't tweak the car at all, although I did upgrade it all the way with 900 hp and super slicks. Can anyone with experience give me some advice if they experienced this before. It would be awesome if Majik would reply, then I would feel honored
Well, first of all, welcome to GTP
The Prime. I'm sure one way to contact Majiik is to send him a private message, in which he should reply soon. Second, with your problem, here's two things you can do in order to avoid the same thing happening again:
1. Try adjusting the gear ratios so that when you are in that certain gear, the car won't shift,. The problem that you are having is that the horespower that comes from shifting up is too much for the wheels to handle during the drift, and so the car changes direction in order for the car to cope with the changes. If you can adjust the gear ratios to stay in that certain gear during the drift, then the car would be able to stay in it's line.
2. Try holding the R2 or L2 button to have the gear hold it's position when you want it to stay. It's like telling the transmission not to shift.
3. Try to cope with this problem by being light on the gas when the car shifts. If the car shifts and then the car starts to change direction, then try to control the position of the car in the drift by balancing the throttle and the countersteering.
I hope this helps, and if you need some clarification, just PM me or just ask here on the thread.

P.S. Sorry about this late reply
