Qualifying?

I was thinking about having a TT event and starting races according to the results. When the races starts reverse and then line up where you came in , in the TT. Up to 10 people each Division.

What do you guys think?

Im guessing that the people who sign up would:

1st - do a time trail to get their positions on the grid (everyone doing the same).

2nd- join the race and line up in that order.

Wow, JGTC cars are ugly..

Oh what? Yeah, sounds alright. By the time we line up though we'd never finish the race as there's bound to be someone who's not us that runs off and wins the race.

Good idea but it is completely impractible and unworkable at the minute.

It would have to wait until we have private rooms so you can guarantee that everyone will make it into the same race, and qualifiying may be available in game by that point too.

If we know exactly what to do, we can do it in less than 20 secs, which is no biggie because that person doesn't matter if he wins the race or not.

It wouldn't hurt to test this out though.
