As some of you might know, I'm not computer smart. So I have a question or two.

If I'm on AIM and my font starts changing and I can't type in anything but caps and then it goes back to normal then again f's up, does that mean I've been hacked? If I start not beingable to send messages and stuff and it won't let me hit enter, am I being hacked? Keep in mind that I was only talking to one person when this all occured. And I know they can't hack me. Even if they could, there was no direct connection established.

Thanks in advance.

What the.. I thought Concept was banned??

In yet another inconsistent move by the moderation staff, he appears to have been let back in. It would be surprising if not for the hundred times this very same thing has happened in the past.

Yea, Jazza V.2

Is it possible that spyware can be piggybacked on Ad-Ware?

Nope he's a goner, but I'm talking about the to-ing and fro-ing in banning and unbanning.

There have been some holes in AIM that were exploited by programs, but all they did was crash AIM. There hasn't been a program that allows someone to hack you through AIM, it just isn't going to happened. Your problem sounds like your computer is having a hard time processing, most likely because you have spyware running in the background. Install Ad-Aware and update to the newest version of AIM.

Spybot: Search and Destroy.

Perhaps one of the best programs I've seen in a long time.

IT search out cookies, programs, trojans and a slew of other programs. It's fantastic if you use any type of "free" P2P programs or spend any amount of time on the web.

Because, yes, even well known sites leave behind cookies that are suspicious.

I ran this on a few machiens at the office, and scared people pretty good.
