Question about increasing displacement

Hello guys !

I'm a veteran driver of GT series, and i just bought my GT4.
It happens that i'm crazy about muscle cars (shame they didn't put dodge challenger again ), and someqwhere i heard that you could put the engine out of the capot (like Fast and furious '69 charger), and i'dd like to know if it is possible. Also, if any of you ppl know a place where i can try increasing displacement (everywhere i go it's N/A), plz tell me.

Hello, SN, and welcome to GTPlanet. I'm not quite sure what you mean about "putting the engine out of the capot", but there's no way to visually modify the cars except by changing wheels and wings.

Only certain cars can receive the "Displacement Up" option. I believe some of the Skylines or Evos can get it. Not all Japanese cars can get it, but I believe that all of the cars that can get it are Japanese, with the possible exception of the old-style Mini.

for serious duke, its true cuz ive only seen that option a few times
but sn, do u mean witht he engine sticing outta the hood? if thats what u mean ive never seen it before, but besides the point u cant do that unless it comes like that wtock, which i am alos aware of that PD as not put one in the game

That's the supercharger.

And no... buying that option won't give you that effect... pity.

I'm disappointed in the disp.up option. The new displacement doesn't reflect in the car stats... like it should.

Ohhh, i see now...btw, the Charger i meant was the '70, and not the 69'
