Question about PS3 Super Slim 500GB

Hi Guys I have some questions about the ps3 super slim 500gb.
My ps3 320gb make me some problems i need a new
But I have hear the ps3 500gb make lags in races and it load in the game very long friends and all load very long is this true?
When this is true I need to buy a used 320gb ps3 because its not more possible to buy it new in Germany.Thanks for the help guys.

I have a slim and it works fine. No lag. I have no idea how fast it loads compared to the normal one. But i expect it would be just as fast.

I have a super slim 500gb and it works just as well as the 80gb original ps3 it replaced. No lag or long loading times. Its the same hard ware on the inside just smaller and compact as sony has figured over the years how to do.

Most of the problems with the Super Slim come down to the hard drive that some of the 500GB models are equipped with being of particularly low quality. If you drop the hammer on buying one and you end up with one with a crappy HDD, just swap out the one you have in your 320.

I got the super slim 12gb flash model and then added a 1TB Samsung Spinpoint M8, and together it cost me £70 less than a 500gb model.

No idea. There was a GTP member who ran rather extensive testing of the load and install times of the Super Slim, so if you dig around in the Computer and Electronics subforum you should find his thread.
