Question about steering wheel

I have a Gamers Gear steering wheel and i wonder if it works with GT3 ( i haven't bought the game yet). It pluggs into the ordinary control input and in a game I make the different pedals and buttons to become the different buttons on the gamepad. I have read that the only stering wheel compatible with GT3 is Logitech GT Force ,but my stering wheel actually simulates the gamepad. And if it works are the steering brakes and acceleration analog on the gamepad? i have read that some people have the brakes and acceleration on the buttons witch aren't analog.

I've had the same problem with my interact racing wheel that was sold with the game when i purchased it. I can't figure out what the problem is so i'll probably take it back to the store.

The buttons on the Dual Shock 2 are analog (pressure sensitive).

Yes, but aren't they only able to feel three diffrent kinds off presure. Not quite like a real break or gas pedal

Actually, they are capable of reading 255 levels of pressure.  But, the human thumb is not that sensitive.  I agree that the foot pedal is by far the best way to go.
