question about teams

As far as I can tell, the purpose of joining a team is to put yourself in the same league as a bunch of your friends, teaming up your skills and giving yourselves something else in common for recognition. It's very much the same question of why people would bother with Clans for online First-Person Shooter games. Because when the opportunity for online play arises, the opportunity for clan engagements will arise, and that's just too cool to pass up, with Gran Turismo 4.

Hope that helps a bit. That's my take on it, anyhoo.

Not sure if he said this, because it was a long post and I only skimmed it, but for alot of people its a chance to get skill out there. And it also prepares people for GT4, so they dont seem like a loner. My reason is just because I wanna have my skill tested, and it seems like team people are being challenged more. Another reason for myself is because it helps make alot of friends.

having a team is like having backups, plus it gives a lot more knowlege and improves skills, but its better to improve skills by battling two player mode, because when you play by yourself, its different when you play with other people, i will try to make my own team in my town, so then we can raelly battle out and help out what we need to do, and what we do wrong, its a good thing

Well... I just did it for fun, having a team for GT4 would make it alot more fun. In fact, since I started Monkey D, I've had the most fun playing GT3 than I've ever had.

Yeah same here, boss. Mainly because I have to pull my own weight now, I guess, so I have to keep my 'skills' in tact..
