Question About Tyre Wear On FR Cars

specifically the Corvette Z06 (C5) '00. I have a gorgeous black version of this car and i have been using it in family cup races at the ring. I love the way the car feels stock, its easy to handle and has good acceleration ( for gears 1-5, 6th is useless).

I have made the following mods to it.

Sports Exhaust
ECU upgrade
Triple Plate Clutch
Stage 1 weight reduction

400hp is what it says at the tuning screen

I stuck racing mediums (r3) on it as well.

I have all the driver aids off

The rear wheels dont spin at all and a set of r3's easily lasts two laps at the ring, but, and this is my question. How come by the time i finish the front tyres are worn into the red.

I cant understand it, the power goes through the rear wheels, im not amazingly fast, i havent spun the car around at all.

if the rear wheels were red i could understand it, but why would a rwd car with still stock suspension wear the front tyres more?

Any insight into this would be appreciated.

MR car? The Corvette is FR to my knowledge.

On the topic of tire wear, it's probably your driving style that wears out the front tires more than the rears. Braking hard, mostly point and shoot approach to taking on turns increase front tire wear.
 
Understeer, maybe? But yes, maybe it's driving style, overbraking and pushing through turns.
 
Why does a TVR Speed 12 with over 800bhp, or any other high power FR, wear it's front tyres out first? Because PD have modeled tyre wear wrong. It's nothing to do with driving style.
 
Yeah sorry it is a front rear. I was watchin my replays at the ring, i guess that the fact that i trail brake a lot would do it.

Any suspension tips to help counter it?

Update: I just took some other FR cars round the ring, all with stock suspension (same as corvette) and all with R3's. They all wore the rear tyres first.
 
Weight, maybe? The Corvette is a light car with the engine up front and a relatively soft rear (to give good takeoff traction), maybe it has more natural push? Or likely the Corvette's good takeoff traction takes a load off the rear. I've never suffered wheelspin with a Z06.

Try the Tuscan Speed 6, that car has tons of push. A real slow-in, fast-out kinda car.
 
Also remember, that the act of turning the car places additional stress on the front tires (that is, stress in addition to accelerating the car). Even though the power goes to the rear wheels, the front wheels still have their own work to do, too. While the rear wheels just "go straight," the front wheels must bear the load of the car not only in a straight line but also around a corner as the suspension works to keep all four wheels on the ground. So, if the suspension is doing 100% of the compensation for weight transfer (and your foot is doint none of it), it is going to force the front wheels to carry more of a load when braking into a turn, which heats them up faster (thus wearing them out faster).
 
Yeah i know that, if i had tuned the suspension i could totaly understand it, but what was surprising me was that it was on the stock suspension where i would have expected an even wear, well id expect the back to go first but i hope u see what i mean.
