Purchased GT4 late. Got a PS3 for Xmas and bought PS2 version of GT4. Today my cousin was over and we played 2 player split screen. My question is... When viewing the replay, is it possible to have full screen like in GT2 for PS1 ? Sorry if this is a duplicate post, I tried searching and after 15 mins I gave up.

Thanks
Jaylam

Hi, and welcome to GTP.

Unfortunately, its not possible to change a split screen replay to full screen.

@ Danachronism: that's the point. Why point out to have bought the PS2 version of GT4 when there is no PS3 version of GT4?

But the point in question has nothing to do with the fact he's playing GT4 on a PS3. His question concerns the fact he's playing GT4.

It was pointless pointing it out, and its pointless going on about it.

I thought GT4 didn't work on those PS3s. Unless he has the older model. I'm not sure if you can save a ghost reply from that race, if so then theres a way to get one lap full screen.

He's saying that there would be a way if you could save the replay, which you can't (why PD decided that, I have no clue).

Thanks for the reply guys. I appreciate it.
Very dissapointing not being able to view replay full screen when racing in split screen mode. That was most of the fun when battling a friend. Kicking back afterwards and watching the cool replays.

He, at least you guys have friends that actually like GT4. All my buddies don't appreciate racing like I do. Everyone I know won't play GT4 because they can't use the handbrake to power slide into a 90 degree turn like they do in Need for Speed. In other words, I have no competition in splitscreen. And my parents wont let me get a network adapter.

Parents-"No you don't need a network adapter"
Me-(thinking)'You don't need cigarettes, but you get them anyways.'

If my parents didn't spend so much money on bad habits, I could have some pretty nice stuff, and I could receive the $400 they owe me.(They really do)

Only my brother's good for a split screen race sometimes (I must use slower car than him). Only one of my friends would play GT4, he's not into it much so when we see each other GT4 isn't really on our minds. Actually I haven't seen him since I left school last year.

The last Network Adapter I bought was $13, used.

Not that I want to second-guess your parents, but if they are worried about costs, then they may be thinking of broadband costs, which are certainly not cheap. If that is not the case, then, if you are old enough to be on-line without parental supervision, you are old enough to earn pocket change. Buy one yourself, if it OK with your parents.

Parents have my social security card, wont let me see it long enough to memorize the #. Need the # to get a job, they wont give me my allowance.

When it comes to getting a network adaptor, I'm pretty much screwed right now.

I don't know how old you are, but if you can do odd jobs around your neighbourhood for cash, then you don't need it.

If you are over 16, I would imagine the government or school could tell you your number. You might even be able to find it on-line (I'm guessing here, of course).

Usually, if there is a will, there is a way (without doing something illegal, too).
